I didn't even remember Drake spat on that beat. It's w/e/forgettable. I'm waiting to see if he's gonna release new quality material like his early mixtapes(which he most likely won't).

Why is Drake being mentioned more and more in this thread?

J. cole will be able to grow out of that tho, just will take time.

Yup, u are...that whole song is dope.
yeah i know it's dope and wale did his thing but j.cole went off on sometime nasty. Sometimes you don't want to hear the first 1:45 minuteof the song.

Does anyone have a link for The Warm Up? Most sites online link you to zshare or something else that doesn't have the file anymore.

The Elderly is a diss track from J.Cole which dropped back in 2003. That means J.Cole was about 18 years old. The track is targeted at rapper, Ravenous who had a rebuttal track called "This Youngin" which isn't even worth posting.

It's on Youtube, I don't want to post it and risk this thread getting locked, but it's pretty decent. He has some really good lines inthere like "your album has the same release date as Shyne Po." You could definitely see the talent and development over the past 6 years.

Damn he was spitting in that Wale song, he went off when he started with that Nas and Pac line.

So last night at the concert I sware i was the only dude that knew most his songs on the floor

im peepin his stage presence and he just starting out but hopefully dude will get better with time
cats knowin his songs will most def make him a better performer

does anybody see him and his career having like a cult followin like Lupe but just peakin there...
i see him possibly reachin that level of stardom but I dont see it goin past that
i dont think people will catch on which is stupid but thats the same case with Lupe

maybe Roc Nation got big plans for him but its been a good 5 6 months and i dont think his buzz has even reached wale's yet....and thats not sayin alot
