Laker Haters & Kobe Haters Call To Arms! (The Haters Unification Thread)

round of applause

good riddance.

You think his career is over?

im sorry.

he was doing 3 much.

he career is based off him doing 3 much, with no consideration for his teamates thinking there was nothing wrong with it.

it was bound to happen.

just like with D Rose.

all that 1 on 5 play isnt good for the body, and ive always said that that style of play hurts the team more than it helps.

oh well

that ACL said "YOU GON LEARN TODAY!"

if anyone deserves a slice of humble pie at the end of his career its Kobe.

I agree with bolded. Too bad this won't change him. He will come back with even more to prove and helping his teammates' game flourish still won't be a priority.

You think his career is over?

not at all.

i do believe his window of opportunity of getting another ship within these next 2 seasons with LA has closed though. which is all i wanted.

what will be interesting is what the future holds for LA and Kobe. i wonder will they pay him 30mil to sit on the bench and rehab at 35 years old.
if they amnesty him, where will he go?

Interesting

Apparently they could save like 80 mill if they amnesty him, but its Kobe and dude has given his entire adult life to that franchise and there's probably a .0005 % chance that happens imo...they'll just let him rehab and probably try and re-up him at a lower base pay...I can't see him in another uniform (although it is a pipedream for me to have to come back home to Philly )

No but you celebrating that he got hurt

One thing is too celebrate that he loses but for him to get hurt. Just wrong but do whatever you like bro.

Cause you really have no idea what hard work is like kobe does. Not just him but others who love the game so much and get hurt like that. Its tough to see anyone hurt like that

Shouldn't there be a thread blaming Nike for his injury? After all, there are threads in the "Other Brands" section blaming Adidas for Derrick Rose and Kevin Ware's injuries.

good riddance.

Honestly, how can you be happy about this?

Knowing Kobe's stans, are you maybe looking forward to the countless annoying "would've" posts, about how the Lakers would've won a championship if this hadn't happened, even though there is zero evidence to back this up?

Anyway, IF Kobe makes a full recovery and if the Lakers amnesty him, it could turn out to be a win-win situation for both the Lakers fans, as well as the "Lakers" fans (that is Kobe stans - the vast majority of people who claim to be Lakers fans on this forum):

The Lakers could finally start building a new team for the future while Kobe could sign with a team that he could actually win a championship like the Clippers and get this 6th ring his stans are constantly calling for... if he embraces the concept of team basketball that is.

The way things were going the Lakers were bound to be in basketball limbo for several years to come - basically the Atlanta Hawks of the west which is the worst place to be. Good enough to be a second round team but never able to become better via the draft or other means.

Y'all know how much I hate Kobe, and even I can't enjoy this.

Dude is the definition of a douchebag, but I don't want to see him go out like that. Guy is a legend, he deserves to go out on his own terms. No doubt in my mind he'll be back dropping 25 a game on dudes again.

^^^^^

yo I'm a kobe fan, just like the next guy. grew up watching him too and all of that, but some of the dudes on the Lakers thread talking about shedding actual tears and how horrible this was for their lives and whatnot :rolleyes chill with that it's not that serious... dude was 35 years old and was putting some SERIOUS minutes in.. something had to give.
one of the reasons i dislike laker fans is how they're so damn over dramatic and act like it's the end of the world or like kobe had just died or something :smh:
buncha cry babies/groupie fans crying over a damn professional athlete getting hurt at the end of his career..
dude will most likely be back.. and if he's not he already had a decorated career

ol' "kobe was my hero, he's hurt and its all over. i don't wanna live in this world anymore" *** fans

my beef has always been
80% with Kobe
20% with the Lakers front office

meaning, for letting a snot nosed, spoiled, rookie come in, dictate, and destroy a team the Laker had what was coming to them as long as Kobe was in purple and gold.

i have no issue with thr Lakers as long as Kobe isnt on their roster.

i also have no problem with Kobe (after eating a big slice of humble pie), playing team ball and getting another ship on another team.

like i said, i was a Laker fan until Kobe showed up.

For christ sake, lock this thread up now. A man who only knows one thing has just had it taken away from him; and a team is probably not making the playoffs (definitely not making any noise). What more do you 24 hr fitness open court all-stars want???

eh,

even if kobe didn't play another minute it was still worth it for the lakers, you act like they went into obscurity ever since he showed up
