This thread needs to be sticky-ed. With the upcoming draft and the crap that surrounds the air, this franchise and it's past and current players need a wash. Bunch of scum bag players.

that list of players is unfair
its not those players fault the Lakers chose to manage their teams personnel based off the emotions of a selfish spoiled shooting guard

No it didnt. It started with the nba annointing kobe as the heir apparent to michael jordan before he proved himself at all
The nba force fed everybody propeganda about kobe being the next jordan and it rubbed people the wrong way because mj, in his farewell season after he retired, became adored by fans and rival fans alike.
I remember every week every national broadcast would ask the question is kobe bryant the next michael jordan? It was annoying.
Anybody who says dude is selfish dude is a rapist, etc is just hurt cuz the lakers along with kobe steam rolled all over their teams to 5 titles.
Jealousy has more to do with hate moreso than what a player does on the court.
When you start bringing up things like rape, cheating, people dont want to play with him, etc, it shows the twisted obsession and butthurt alot of these guys have towards kobe because he along with shaq, pau, and phil dominated they favorite team.
You know how stupid someone sounds when they say nobody wants to play with kobe? Like the nba has no salary cap for the lakers?
Then say why didnt anybody sign last year?
Like who would sign or take less to play with a washed old player?

The colorado incident justadded fuel to the fire.
Same dudes saying he raped that girl even tho he wasnt convicted and got caught up is the same dudes yelling free mike tyson or any other college jabroni getting caught up

dont think.people even know. dude was clean. legal or not, he did somethinf that tarnished his image. whether legal could successfully charge him or not was another thing, but it showed he world who he trully was. g.hill clean dough, but lacked.

It was like this. Nba forced fed us kobe after mj left. It was sickening. He was the nba goody two shoes. People hated that. I didnt like him either because the force feeding him as the next mj was unbearable.

People didn't hate Kobe for that, I understand your point dough. But Kobe was the closest thing ever, and rose to that level. Wade, Lebron, Kd, whoever, however you wanna say it, just wasn't close. It could be the timing or whatever, but it no longer matters because the generation gap passed. No one was looking for the next MJ in Wade, Lebron, KD, Russell. It's different. Kobe fumbled though. Had he not, it would've been way different. WAY WAY different.
No matter how you people wanna cut it, coming from the horse's mouth, MJ himself, he gave that nod.

The true hate comes from the fact that Kobe fumbled hard. It comes from the fact that his image, credibility, and character took a 180. It's more disappointment that turned to hate. Dude was clean, dude was himself, a distinctive character, but he just fumbled way too hard. Now he becomes a VERY VERY easy target for slander, ridicule, etc. etc.
