Laker Haters & Kobe Haters Call To Arms! (The Haters Unification Thread)

And when did Shaq start winning? :nerd:

When Kobe turned 21 and became a starter, the Lakers immediately became champs.

Oh, and Phil helped too.

Shhhh you'll just get a bunch of Finals stats and Shaq carrying this blah blah that ignoring what Bean did in the West playoffs where there were actual live bodies in the way.

shaq was batman, kobe was robin in those years. its so true it aint even worth trynna fix an argument against.

it was quoted n emphasized that the ball would go in to shaq.

I seen game 4 at Indy, in OT. I know what happened.

I seen game 7 vs the Blazers too, I know how we got passed them.

Shaq was a force. He was a force in 94, in 95, in 96, in 97, in 98, in 99, but he didn't win ANY of those years, til Kobe growed up. Suddenly, Shaq was a Champion times 3.

MVP is a joke of an award.

****** almost gave it to James Harden this year.

And Nash has as many as Kobe and Shaq combined.
Meaningful Awards

MLB MVP

NFL MVP

College POY

Heisman

NBA MVP

Kobe getting carried in any year his team won a title cracks me up every time. Dude did numbers in the regular season and postseason every title run, but he was carried.

for the robin stuff. i'll acknowledge it in the 2000 finals even though kobe stepped up huge with the bad ankle game 4 in indy when shaq fouled out.

but a robin type player doesn't put up the numbers kobe did in the 2001 and 2002 finals. those playoffs. hell those playoffs as well when you consider how much of a dogfight the western conference playoffs were at that time.  anyone who calls that being a robin player should just admit that it's blatant hate and that there is a level of biasedness in their opinions.

we know shaq was the man during that 3 peat. but just because he was the man, it doesn't make kobe robin.

hell i wouldn't view scottie pippen as a robin type player either.  we all knew mike was the man, but pippens contributions to those bulls teams were beyond that of a robin type calliber player.

thats why they call it a duo. a one two hit combo. one to stun and tank, another to finish.

1. Shaq
2. Kobe

Not

1.a Shaq
1.b Kobe

And even if

Shaq was A
kobe was B

Kobe never got finals MVP for a reason

Yes cause he wasn't going up against Rik Smits, Toddler McCollough and Dikembe Mutumbo.

Don't know of any other Robin that put up 29/7/6 and 27/6/5 in the playoffs. But if you can find one please let me know.

He ate anyone and everyone. People drink too much Cousins kool.aid. Forgot how dominant shaq was. Forgot what da triangle meant and how great of a passer Shaq was.

Sorry Mr. Colorado aint lifting no one or dunking and throwing elbows. LoL

Wow and you say I discredit members of my favorite teams when I make arguments for someone.
You're so damn hypocritical :rrollin

See, I am not discrediting Shaq. He was a beast. An all time great. No where do you see me saying he wasn't.

Here is what I said, again.

Shaq was a force in 94, in 95, 96, 97, 98, 99 and he didn't win anything. These are facts. You may check if you need too.

Then, suddenly, the teenager Kobe, off the bench, 13 minutes a game type stuff was gone, and Kobe became the starting SG. And guess what happened? :nerd:

And as for game 7 WCF, and game 4 of the Finals. Well, how did those go?

So I'm not discrediting Shaq in any way, I'm pointing out flat out truths. Shaq didn't win til Kobe was good to go. Kobe was a BEAST in game 7 vs Portland. And Kobe saved the Lakers *** in game 4 of the Finals, in OT, on the road.

2001, and 2002 Kobe speak for themselves. That dude was killing it, same as Shaq was. And those years, the Lakers were even better than they were in 2000, when Kobe was at his youngest/least all around type of game.

Let us not forget it was Kobe puttin the team on his shoulder while shaq was always in foul trouble or when they were benchin shaq late cuz he couldn't hit a free throw to save his life.

Hack a Shaq was real.

I'm riding with Woj. Lakers = New Clippers. Have Fun With drafting some injury prone busts and massive underachievers.
