I can't stand this bunch of characters.

That being said, the Magic had their chances and they simply blew them. Courtney Lee makes that layup and Dwight Howard makes 1 free throw and it is 3-1, Magic lead. This Magic team has choked like no other, blowing leads with their poor turnovers.

I don't think the Lakers deserve to win, but I don't think the Magic do either.

I don't get this at all really.

Was rhat no heart last night? No heart winning a road playoff game in every series they've played this year? No heart after getting embarrassed last yearand coming in with a target on their back, winning the conference by 11 games, not once losing two in a row in the playoffs, not one time losing 3 times in arow during the season, taking everyone's best punch and still being right here on the verge? That's no heart? I dunno about that.

Certainly not the most fundamentally precise team in Lakers history to make it here, but they are still playing basketball.
What do you want from them?

No heart? Did you even watch the game last night? A team with no heart would have handed the game on a silver platter.

Now, as far as heart vs. talent, there should be a separate discussion about that in it's own, because people can make a case for each all day.

I bash the Lakers all the time, we all bash our teams when they do something dumb.

But here's the thing...

And before I ask this, I'm not looking for a debate, I could care less.

But you say Lakers don't have any heart, they don't play both ends of the game. But how did they manage to get this far?

I see that you're crediting Boston from last year (they deserved it)... but didn't they play all 3 series before Lakers to 7? A team that clearly hadthe best record and better team, they were troubled by .500 teams.

Lakers this year beat Boston AND Cleveland (at their home), though they lost both to Orlando, YET in this series they are up 3-1.

Another question. IF Lakers win the chip, does your hat go off to them?

The only Laker hater I'll give props to is Zodogg. I just don't see how people can discredit a team who has made it to the Finals, finals people, and are on the verge of winning their 15 title as afranchise. I just don't see it. I understand people hate because of some of the bandwagon fans, but blame those fans, not the damn franchise.

I was an avid Laker fan up until it became Kobe's team because I've never liked Kobe. Still don't, although I admit he's the most skilledbasketball player there is right now. So, I have mixed feelings about the Lakers getting this title. At the end of the day, I'm rooting for them to win,but its in spite of Kobe. The main reason I'm pulling for the Lakers is probably Odom. I think he's basically a good dude who has been through somereally tough times, so I'd like to see him get a ring.

The Lakers are where they are on talent. They are a very talented team, a solid starting five with a very good bench. Saying this team hasheart,

Target on their back? It is safe to say that the West was not as deep as years past. Not everyone has a Lamar Odom, a starter on any other team,coming off the bench. How can you guys be a fan of this team. Skunking the Rockets on your own floor, yet letting them skunk you the following game,

I hated the 2000 team, but it is hard to discredit them. They faced a talented team that blew them out in Staples (Game 2). They turned around and beatPortland the next two games. That series ended up being epic. The 2001 Lakers just moped the floor with everyone, they were head and shoulders above anyone. The 2002 team, won the title by beating the Sacramento Kings (let's not talk about the Eastern Conference that season,

). It was an epic series, Kingsbeing robbed arguments aside, and both teams (Kings and Lakers) played hard.

This team seems to just coast and take breaks, even during the playoffs, sad.
