I know I'm late, but is anyone else disgusted?

i've definitely slowed up and am VERY selective on what to get. i really want the +60 pack. but at this point i only want to have enough j's that'll last me a life time. that's why i'm selling half of my collection 9.0 and a few 9.5 from retros to cdp's......
Damn homie. 200 Jays at lets say $100 each is $20,000. Thats a truck right there.

The thing with shoes I guess is its all how you look at it.

My general rule of thumb when selling my shoes is I try to make more on the shoe than what I paid for. Turn your shoes into a Business, but we already knewthat.

don't worry, your not the only one, i feel you to. I have all these sneakers and i can't see myself wearing them anymore, all i wear now are vans. allmy sneakers now are just sitting in my closet.

you sound like you bought em to be cool......and not cuz you actually like them, thats why you worried about how you perceived about them...

Live And learn .............

Now give them to a good home,, such as mine .......

You got mail........

Everything goes in cycles and especially in this day and age where mainstream/popular stuff gets over saturated and beaten to death it's no surprisingwe're seeing this with J's. Jordan's will eventually lower in popularity for a few years (though not in price because of true sneakerheads) andthen have a renaissance when they become popular again.

sell some... keep the ones you can't part with

i sold alot a kicks when i went away to college a few years back....best decision i ever made..that bread came in handy in my first year away from home

I felt that way. One day I woke up, searched for a outfit and I just didnt want to wear Jordans. I sold so many shoes I'm left down to about 100 pairs.
Sell the kicks you really dont care about and dont see wearing in the future.

Keep the pairs that you like and sell off the one's you are not a true fan of....I'm not sure how or why it happens but we (sneakerheads) get into thiscycle of buying every release and obsessing over the whole "collection" idea. Buy what you like from now on, for the "I had those when I was akid" or "I always wanted those but couldn't get em" moments....don't worry about the High school kids....they have their own set ofreasons....just like you should have yours.....

i always wanted a big collection so badly but now even tho
i only have few pairs its weird dat erytime i cop a pair i feel satisfied with what i got

but i still think having a COLLECTION is worth it
dont u feel kinda special wid all dat kicks?
i mean ya kno not everyone has a collection over 100 pairs

I buy kicks I like and would wear. Not to collect dust and hoping they'll go up in value.

Seems like you purchased a bunch of Jordan's, just because you were in the habit of always purchasing a bunch of Jordan's. You might not havenecessarily liked the sneaker.

I wear a size 9.5 - 10.5, so if you're trying to sell some of those, let me know

Its true they have def. done major damage to the image of the brand with the way they handled things since 2000...I have been selling off most of my non Ogcolorways now and plan on only keeping 1 pair of 1-23........but then again they do have the ability to redeem themselves if they follow up the space Jams andwhite red 12's with a bunch of other highly desired OG colorways...I just say Thank goodness Josiah and gentrys horriblle LS experiment seems to besquashed....its just now we got to worry about smith pumping the market with horrible dub zeros he loves sooooo much....

I wear a 10 too...so what you want to sell...feel free to PM some of us early repliers BEFORE you post somewhere else...right?

I got about 120 pairs or so, I sold off a bunch, and bought a few recently. But to limit myself, I've been trying to only buy what I love (og's), notjust what I like because there's too much out there that I like.
I couldn't pay my mortgage if I bought everything that I wanted. IMO, if you are disgusted, you should sell what you got and put that money into yoursavings, then question why you bought it in the first place.

wrong. I just feel like they've been over-done. And its kinda sad because of all the time and money i've put into them. I need to fall in love with
them again i guess. and when i think about all the money i put into them i get sick to my stomach because i'm like @!% what do i have to show for them? a
room full of shoes? And honesly, even if Jordan Brand dropped the Space Jams, White/black/red x's, white/red xii's and infared vi's i dont think
i'd pick em up.

i def. feel u and i agree with everything u said EXCEPT the last sentence.

get into another brand, since ive started its been mostly jordans, sb's and basketball shoes but now im getting into trainers and some running shoes, ithelps keep it fresh and mixes up or sell and trade some pairs for new stuff. i bet if you opened a box to a crispy pair of city series x's or some othernice og pair youve been wanting you will find your passion again
