I know I'm late, but is anyone else disgusted?

I felt the same way too. but the way the economy is turning. I just decided to get rid about all my collection excecpt for like 4-6 pairs i really really like.Everything else I don't see myself wearing as much. Most of the shoes I sold were only worn like once or twice. some are still DS. I have better things tospend my money on then shoes. My daughter is about to be a year and a half and I catch myself spending all this money on shoes when that should be going in thebank for her. Those shoes aren't going anywhere and when I start making the money I really wanna make then I can re-cop what I got rid of and then more.thats how I see it. Its nice to look at but in the end what is it really doing for me?

feel the same way, Ive just been selling all my kicks and just keeping w.e i like

Jordan's just aren't what they used to be.. i remember how people would feen for the new jays coming out ...cutting class to go get em smh the good oldays...now people don't really care for em unless if there super limited or w.e.

I'm 24 and luckily I didn't really start collecting until a year and a half ago. I just pick up the ones I like. Carmines are my grail

and when I saw that they were releasing them, it sparked my collecting itch.Got 5 pairs to hopefully bust out a fresh pair every 5-10 years depending on how long they last! I have a few extras from the CDPs that I have sold or willgive to family/friends but my goal is to just get the ones I like and not get all 1-23. I pick out my faves that I like and think will look classic for alltime.

its called maturing... i was tired of looking like a kid when im a grown ask man! i have a few mikes left but i definately moved to the classic shoes now too.i think your following the same path...

I feel the same exact way.

So far i've sold a pair of carmine's, my columbia xi's 2 grapes, pair of taxi's, olympic vi's from last summer, fire red 3's, still gota lot left!!! black/royal 1's, all my 13's, 12's, 11's, 7's 3's, thunder pack, bmp pack, all cdp packs, and dmp size 9.5!! hit me up onhere!

Hey in case anyone is interested in any trades. I wouldnt mind the red v's from the Ragin Bull pack. either 9.5 or 9 or even a 10. got a basketball tournycoming up and i wanna rock those hard!

its hard but its up to you. i think everyone thinks about how much $ they have spent on shoes once in a while.

One less.......... And another one bite's the dust........... Man down............ Nah for real, what size you wear?

I use to feel like that, but collecting has been a love of mines for as long as I was able to earn my own money. Everybody buys kicks for different reasons, ifyou feel as though your tired of it, then by all means continue to sell or trade what you dont want. But, there is nothin wrong with collecting, many pplcollect different things that they love, whats the difference between collecting comics or kicks?

I dont understand the ideal about maturity that I see ppl posting, when did clothes/kicks determine how mature a person is?

wow.. Boohoo? I dunno man. Looks like you're in deep trouble. There's always the selling lounge, get yo money back or something. Try ebay.

I totally feel what you're saying. I liquidated all the Jordans i was holding recently. I'm hunting only for OG pairs that I couldnt wear in the firstplace now.

I appreciate the designs and history and still keep up wth releases out of interest, but the company is totally different now. Its nothing special and thelegacy means nothing.

Like now, I see the true blues that are coming out and they look good, leather and all....but I just simply don't want to wear them. Oversaturation killedjordans a while ago.

Heres my philosophy: The Jordans themselves are sick and I love them. I'll never lose my love for them. I just can't see myself wearing them. There isa difference. And what good do they do in my house, so I might as well sell them. I used to be like "Oh damn i have the cool grey 11s and the playoff12's and the dmp's and the thunder pack and all these other shoes that other people would killl to have" so it was cool to like have people envyme but where is that ever going to get me? i cant see myself in 15 years going oh yeah cool look at all these shoes! my wife will be like What the heck is yourproblem grow up. Its like a peterpan complex. Its weird though, its just like only certian jordans. like i could never ever see myself wearing a 5 8 9 11 12 1314 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 or 2r or spizike, but the 1s 3s and 6s are cool. i dont know why.

COME ON PEOPLE!!! HOW CAN IT BE SO HARD FOR ME TO SELL BLACK/ROYAL 1'S FROM 2001, SIZE 9.5 DMP, BMP PACK. CARMINES, A BUNCH OF DS 12'S, AND A BUNCH OFDS 13'S!!!!

Same boat, a few years back. Plus I experienced finally wearing an old DS pair, only to break them out and see that they turn yellow or turn todust!

I waited until the time was right, and sold all my SB's and 85% of my J's. I made a killing.

...and with the cash I got a Honda CRF450R... Its more fun riding that thing than standing in line with a bunch of hipster dorks.

I kept only my very favorite J's that I knew I'd wear. I think I kept like 8 pairs. I still buy very select J's, very select AirMaxes, and a Kobe or two each year.

well if you have all the jordans, of course you don't value them the way someone with only a couple pairs might. i say sell any doubles you may have andkeep 1 or 2 for each model. start collecting something different. i've always felt that there's always something else to collect if i ever lost my JBlove.
