So, as some of you might have seen from my last topic entitled "I know I'm late, but is anyone else disgusted?", I have suddenly been sufferingfrom depression about my Jordans and the money I've spent on them. I have had success selling shoes locally on craigslist and a few of you on here havebought some from me via Paypal, (Thank you to those who did). I was able to sell my Grapes, Columbia XI's, Carmine's, Flint XIII's, and a fewothers. But today I finally did something with my shoes that made a greated impact on this earth than selling them could ever do.

I went to this shelter near the home where I grew up, its like a place where women who get abused by their husbands go with their kids, to avoid the husbandsfrom hurting them and i guess to avoid being found. I gave away alot of the crappy half of cdp's pack (15's 18's 19's 20's 21's), andmy White/orange/grey 8's from last year, my black/yellow low xi's, a bunch of other low xi's, my old beat up low vi's from 2001 or 2002 orwhatever, beat up black/silver v's, brand new never worn nelly spizikes and i believe the aqua 8's and a grip of low 1's from 2007. you guys shouldhave seen the look on the kids faces! it was like christmas! because some of the moms cant work due to whatever reason, so the kids have to wear old l.a. gearand stuff. so it was cool to brighten their day! even though some of the kids wear like size 8 and i wear 9.5-10.5 they said they could wear them anyways. Itwas kind of awkward though because i got the feeling some of the moms there thought i was better than them and thought they were poor, which isnt what ithought at all, just wanted to give them to someone who can actually appreciate them.

And i know some of you on here will give me crap for not giving away any real heat, but I still wanna sell some. and to me, whether I gave those kids a DS pairof Playoff 12's or a pair of dub zero's, it is still a big deal to them. Just my thought.

That's a great thing you did the world needs more people like you

HAHA it was kind of funny though because on the way down there I planned on giving away some better stuff, like some v's and some 7's and stuff, butthen when i got there i was like damn i can't do it! But i still paid my due's.

hell of a deed you did there

I doubt anyone gives you any crap though about what shoes you gave...the fact that you gave is what matters most
I hope good things are to come for you...You know not too many people would do that kind of thing and I'm sure those kids were genuinely grateful

Stay up

Bro, no one cares what shoes you gave them, just the fact that you did is good enough. Nice

That's awesome man, this reminds me of the episode of Martin in which he portrays himself as scrooge throughout the show and then gives a teenager withsome beat up shoes a pair of fresh taxi 12s right off his feet

HAHA damn now that takes guts! Imagine giving a kid a pair of Infrared vi's off your feet! from 1991!!

To us it may not be heat, but to them Jordans are Jordans my man. It's refreshing to know that a shoe head gettin out of the game with a large amount ofshoes is willing to sell them for smiles instead of cash. Hopefully I can do something as respectful as you did if I ever step out of the shoe game.

today, you became a hero to some families.. and what you did was a very selfless act.. i applaud you, and hope it comes back to x10

Thats wuddup blprnt...I bet whoever got them DS spizikes is flossin over there haha.

That is truly a great thing that you did. It doesn't matter what shoes you gave them because they are still $130 Jordans. I'm glad to hear thatthat's what you decided to do with your extra kicks, while I'm also glad to hear that you didn't give away your heat hahahahaha. Thanks forsharing.

Question.

What or who make you realize how much you've spent on Jays?

You really did a good deed. The best part is that you did it because you wanted to. Not for recognition. Props to you.

That's a hell of a good deed. The world needs more humble people like you, driven to do good things for others who you don't know. You will have somegood karma. Props on not being greedy, as people said it doesn't matter if you gave away ds og's or beat fusions it's the thought that counts.
