My Shoes finally touched someones life....In a meaningful way

There are some good people...I got a funny one when I was 17 I worked in downtown Cleveland at the Improv comedy club as a line cook,when ever we held buffetsthere were always tons of extra food. Me and my best friend used to prepare boxed meals and pass them out to the many homeless along downtown streets. Well wejust copped the 14's they just dropped that week original not retro this was awhile back but as we were passing out the food that many people were glad toget a couple tried to rob us for our J's aint that some crap
 
You did a great thing man. I always appreciate hearing about these acts of kindness.
 
That's is great what you done. When you have so many stop being greedy! and give to the needy. Good JOB.

I gave away alot of the crappy half of cdp's pack (15's 18's 19's 20's 21's), and my White/orange/grey 8's from last year, my black/yellow low xi's, a bunch of other low xi's, my old beat up low vi's from 2001 or 2002 or whatever, beat up black/silver v's, brand new never worn nelly spizikes and i believe the aqua 8's and a grip of low 1's from 2007. you guys should have seen the look on the kids faces! it was like christmas! because some of the moms cant work due to whatever reason, so the kids have to wear old l.a. gear and stuff. so it was cool to brighten their day! even though some of the kids wear like size 8 and i wear 9.5-10.5 they said they could wear them anyways. It was kind of awkward though because i got the feeling some of the moms there thought i was better than them and thought they were poor, which isnt what i thought at all, just wanted to give them to someone who can actually appreciate them.

And i know some of you on here will give me crap for not giving away any real heat, but I still wanna sell some. and to me, whether I gave those kids a DS pair of Playoff 12's or a pair of dub zero's, it is still a big deal to them. Just my thought

I give my used Js to the mission for homeless people.Kinda funny seeing people running around town in nike shoxs.It makese smile.

hey it may not be heat but a numbered jordan is an Air jordan. no metter what they are still classic shoes. but besides that the point is u did good. Youactually gave me a great idea to do with some of my shoes, and i hope others here also lean something and do th same.
 
thats an amazing thing u did...takes a lot for someone to give away that many jordans..let alone anything of theirs that they truly like

Nuff respect I know the feelin, a few years back I gave away 4-5 pairs of kicks some DS some hardly used AF1s to a reform school for under privlaged kids.

I do a bit of coaching in the same neighbourhood and bout 6 months later I noticed a new kid joined the U15 community team. He had a fresh pair of zoom GPslike 10 years after they were out, It was a great feelin knowin this kid started playin ball cus of the kicks I donated.
