Nike Zoom Air sockliners

I am souring ebay and I cannot tell which ones have zoom air sock liners.... I know a few NTers on here had a list awhile back but I am looking for a bit of an updated list... My best best now looks to be some beat lebron iv's or total 90 II socer cleats (but not the iii's- they have it stitched into the midsole)... If anyone has some knowledge, please give us a list. Thanks!

Because they don't need to.
of course they dont need to...its just stupid they could be making millions more per year....

Outside of true shoehead hoopers, I don't think many people know what zoom air is.

Also, if Nike made insoles and stuff it would kind of cheapen the brand IMO. That's part of the prestige behind their higher-end basketball shoes.

I see your point, but if I were running it I would still have insoles for sale, they can market it as "customize your ride" further enhancing your personal needs. I think they could do this make tons of money and not cheapen their brand if it is excuted correctly.

Nike is already gimmicky enough, I don't think insoles would do TOO well.

Sure, i'd have like 4 pair but for the most part I don't think people want to have to waste time with insoles. Especially with basketball shoes mostly being glued in.

Any other football cleats have Zoom sockliners

I think people would, look above people are willing to buy a crappy pair of Talache's just to get the insoles...they are looking for lists of shoes SBs etc...just to get the insoles....Spenco makes millions selling insoles....I have probably 10-15 sets of spencos....You have 4...there are millions of people just like us....They would sell...

Nike have never been too bothered about value for money.

More recently, they're hellbent on squeezing every single cent out of us, making us pay top dollar for cut-rate product.

Air Max bubbles are shrinking. Lunar Foam is being passed of as superior to Zoom, and some shoes don't even have proper forefoot cushioning anymore.

To just sell one of their best ideas on its own it simply contrary to a fundamental characteristic of Nike.

why do you guys call um sockliner? isnt it an insole?

the gp iv have the most firm thickest zoom air removable insole ive ever had....

The Flightposite 3 gets a nod here too. And probably the Lebron IV... although i've never owned that one.

I said i'd have like 4 if they made them. I don't mess with aftermarket insoles in basketball shoes. I have one pair of superfeet I use with my running/work shoes.

There's barely a two page post on a shoe forum about the want for them. I just don't think the demand is that high.

I think if Nike educated the customer, the demand would exist at a profitable level... I recently introduced my father-in-law to Sof Sole Airr insoles, and he now refuses to play any tennis matches without them.

Before I showed them to him and gave 'em my praise (I use them mostly in my KD1's, which essentially makes for a Zoom forefoot and Air+Cushlon heel set up and equals AMAZING!), he knew nothing about them.

He swears his knees and back no longer ache after matches, but I don't know if that's legit or a placebo-$%! reaction, ha.

Nke: just sell Zoom insoles for like $29.99-$39.99 and make us think we need them like they already do with shooting sleeves and padded underwear ala the Pro Combat line.

Lol at the shooting sleeves and pro combat.... I know the Flightposite 3's do but Do the flightposite 2 have zoom air in the insoles or sockliners or whatever you want to call it?

Too much zoom zoom?????

Bron's are double stacked zoom i think they call it. Heel zoom air, and a full length zoom air BUILT into the midsole.

its basically the same as the removable stuff that people are asking about. Now the real question is, why not a triple stacked zoom, with an added removable full length insole to the top of the embedded full length zoom?

forefoot and heel zoom air "pods" are good enough for me.

full length removable zoom air is definitely a great alternative/additive to any normal shoe though. Nike wouldnt have it that way though. They have to push new technologies. They already HAVE THE BEST out there, but whats the fun in giving the best?

on another note.... I heard people complain about a shoe like these:

I'd give anything for a basic ZOOM setup like this.. Do you realize what we are getting NOW? as someone mentioned above, almost nothing with forefoot air in them. its sad and crazy.

2k4s had a legit setup too but not quite at that full length zoom level yet:

many times, you hear zoom, and are lied to or not told to the truth completely. zoom bb2 low.. Heel zoom ONLY

I literally take the insoles out of each shoe I plan to buy or know I want and feel for the airbags.

we all seriously should start taking one shoe that we know is beat up and dissect it for the betterment of the community

To answer a couple of people's questions about e-cue's; they have the full zoom insole plus a zoom bag in the heel as well so yes, it is double stacked zoom.

I like double stack zoom in the heel, but in the forefoot it would feel weird IMO.

I'm pretty sure it's been said in the past that sheed actually does have triple stacked zoom in his AF1's he always wears. Haven't ever had any real confirmation but I know I read that on here circa 03.

The forefoot of the ZK5 is a joke btw. If that shoe was full length I would of had it from day 1 but i've been hesitant forever.

if nike just sold zoom sockliners, then no one would buy any of their basketball shoes. people would just buy them and add them to some adidas or reeboks and other things of that nature. from nike's standpoint, that would just be lame.

Good point draydray... Does anyone know of some more recent models that have them? E-cues and talaches aren't very common to see for sale anymore...

This post made me break out the insole from the Bron IV. So amazing. They don't fit right in any other shoes though.

I use my zoom ecue and lebron iv insoles in other shoes from time to time (Lebron IV insoles go great in Flightposites - straight butter). I've been using my Jordan 2009 insoles in my Soldier 3s to get double stacked zoom in the heel. I've also used them in some other shoes to get that double stacked feel. So amazing.

these r pretty good, i dont own a pair but i have tried them on with a pair of air tailwind 2010s.  Im probably gonna have to start buying multiples when i start buying jordans again, everybody know how subpar the cushioning is now.

Is it for all sizes? I remember when people were going to outlets and stealing insoles (

) I thought eCues and URLs had the same setup (zoom bag in  the heel) and a zoom insole  - except I thought sizes like 9 and under or something weren't fool length but forefoot and heel separately.
I still have my air cues except they're almost a whole size too big (

). That had the full length zoom set up. I dunno about you guys but while those were the COMFIEST, being flat footed the full length zoom sock liner was TOO soft for me  and ended up hurting my feet at times if I ran in them or anything.

A lot of SBs had sockliners with zoom in them (most of them after the whole eCue/URL era are just heel only though) and none in midsole. Now a days I'm fairly sure it's only in the insole if they double stack the heel.

and Crazy EBW, I remember reading that same story about sheeds, but it always seemed sort of sketchy to me

I'm sure he has an alternate setup,

My favourite setup is embedded full length, but my experience with eCues has me leaning a bit more towards forefoot/heel pods nowadays. I can't stand a Zoom setup that's too "soft" at the heel though. I much prefer firm air bags and a responsive zoom forefoot.
