whats your story on loving and collecting jordans?

When I was a kid, my pops had a part time job at a shoe spot when he was young. I was wearing Jordans pretty much my whole child hood and really didn'teven realize it until I started picking out my own cw's that came out. I've had a lot of heat according to pics I've taken as a kid. I justcontinued to grow into loving Jordans and Kicks in general. Even when I was in elementry, like Hugo stated the Concord XI's were love at first sight. Whenyou are a kid and your start cutting out pics of Jordan in XI's and putting them on your wall, that my friend is love for a shoe!

started with my older cousin,
got me 'in the game' early, i guess you can say....
fell in love w/ jordans and the sneaker culture in general,
the rest is history....

I'm 16 so yeah, but hearing my parents talk about MJs skills and what he accomplished made me admire him. I always wanted a pair of Jordans but could neverafford em. Then last year my friend was about to give away some Bred 13s but I asked him if I could have em and I did. Now I have gotten more shoes ever sincethat time. I discovered Niketalk and ISS and ever since its been straight simple.

my big bro used to buy all the jordans but i really had no care for kicks when i was younger
he would buy every dpair that dropped and i was in beat reeboks and k swiss
he gave me his og taxi 12s and they were to big, about 4 sizes to big lol
i ran em into the ground rocking them i was a size 8 and they 12s were a 12
when i turned 12 my brother was shot and killed and now i love jordans a lot because they remind me of him
i still got those super beat og 12s and i still rock em once a week now that i fit them
r.i.p Rodney Dickerson i miss you man

I was stunned by Jordan's game way back in 1989, & when the V's came, love for jays started. It became more profound as the black infrared VIreleased...

well...... i have always been a sneaker person, just not so exclusive to jordans. in 06 i had a friend i was close to that was a jordanhead. i used to alwaysgo on RD missions with him

since we were always chilling. after awhile i starting liking particular jordan modes and decided to cop a pair. my 1st pair were the 07 fire red III's. ijust had those for awhile until the

BMP caught my eye. after those thats when craziness started. at that time i was hustling so i used to pick up atleast 2 or 3 pairs a month so it wasnt longtill i built up a collection.

even at this point i was jus on some i got dough so i buy kicks. soon after tho my ex that i was wit for a long time decided to leave me and in my depression ibegan to be intriged by

the history of jordans and what these sig models stood for. it went from a swagger kinda collection to a love. ive kept it up ever since. i consider myelf arookie still cuz its only been

about 2 and half years since i started, but ive collected over 60 pairs (including some heat) in that small span of time and im not slowing down anytimesoon......

Im 17 and when i first actually started wear shoes they were Air Jordans i keep wearing them till i got to middle then i started wearing Forces and when i gotto high school i feel back in love with them and when i made all A's on my report card my momma would buy a pair of Jordans, plus i used to sell weed tosupport my Jordan habbit ( but im not saying selling weed is a good thing ) and that summer i got an job and have been working ever since and now i have 34pairs and running.
and before my upcoming senoir year im going to get a Jordan tattoo, but i havent decided what im going to get yet.
AIR JORDANS well always be apart of my life i plan on working my nike as my career

Being one of the oldest sneakerheads here, it started when I saw him hit the winning shot when he was at North Carolina to beat Georgetown in 1984. Itcatapulted when he hit ''the shot'' against Craig Ehlo in 1989. It became an incurable virus when he hit ''the last shot''against Utah for title #6 in 1998.

It ended when MJ allowed Nike to compromise his principles towards the quality of the productthat has name on it (''Quality inspired by the greatest player ever?'' - yeah, right.) and profit over quality. Pay $150 or more for what (metaphorically) amounts to a cheap ''donut'' tire in my trunk ready to blowout at any time while I'm playing in them instead of a true performance tire produced for just that - performance? No thank you...
