hey nt, i need some help whitening the mesh on my xis in the picture. i tried using rit, but it didnt do much

, i dont think i used it the right way, i used a brush and a cloth to clean it, after this not working i guess i should try barkeepers friend? lmk ifthere si a way to whiten the mesh with rit or something else, and yes i checked the sneaker care post
 
Rit works way better than barkeepers friend. You have to use 1/2 the box of the Whitener and Brightner and 1/2 box of White Wash in very hot water. Dilutethem. Use the tooth brush and scrub it in. Then use another cup of hot water and use your tooth brush to scrub out the cleaners using only the hot water andbrush. Then use your 100% cotton rag to dry off most of the water. Repeat this a few times. Do not put in the window to air dry!! The sun will yellow themagain or if not, it will get worse.
 
i've never used rit, but BKF works wonders. my retro xi's were piss yellow. after bout an hour of scrubbing, they were white as snow.
 
umm i would argue s cloth with a little bleach will clean the tag but the rest i am not sure of...just a tip i did to my 12's

it might work on the uppers but what about the laceloops? I tried BKF but it did not work.
