everyone says they look like dunks

but back in the 80s, most nikes looked the same i believe

yea....when i apply air force 1 to it, i think of a hooping shoe....whenever i think of dunks i think of skateboarding....but jordan 1s look more like dunksthen air force 1s......

you do realize that the AJ1 was inspired by the terminator, the dunk and the air force 1 right...?

the sole is too thin to be like AF1.

definitely more like dunks.

i once scored 22 pts in the AJ1 (6/6 from 3, 2/3 from 2).. and then broke my foot.

he is right about the terminators and maybe the airforce ones...but not the dunks...i seeen some samples of the Jordan 1s where JB tried to putthe NIKE in the back of the shoes similar to the terminators

I agree with most but the first models of the Air Jordan 1 do not look like the nike air force nor the dunk.. They were too hi top to give off the same look, which is why I can agree with the terminator comment. But regardles of simularities theres a greater difference from insoles to toebox.

But air force one is a stretch...

Hmm... I hope some Veteran with a lot of knowledge comes in here. Personally I am not sure, but I do believe they were a mix of the Air Ships and Terminators. Two versions... Air Chicago, Air Jordan I.
Little do some people know, there was not even enough Air in the Air Jordan I to make it functional. Also, when the samples made in America were sent overseasfor production, they came back with differences.

Air Jordans came out in 1985. Dunks came out later that year into 1986.
Dunks are the cheaper version of Air Jordans. (think AJ 4 to Flight 89)
College players were wearing Air Jordans in their respective colorways before Dunks were released "Be True To Your School."
Dunks look more like the Big Nike, not to be confused with the Terminator.

They look the same but they aren't the same. One has Air and the other doesn't.
