No, they're legit.
Released in 2003. I'm sure it was a US only release ( we didn't have it in Europe).
I think it's the same story for the AF1 Puerto Rico (target the puerto rican customer or show love to the community, maybe both).

Damn I had a colorway in the 90's that was like a light blue kind of and black, and then they released it sometime a couple of years ago and I got them,but I had to go up a size and ending up dogging them.

Does anyone know which ones/colorway I'm talking about or has pics of it?

Forget it I did a quick search and I found them... these were fire, but I remember the OG's I had in the 90's the blue suede was better and had morebetter quality to the suede whereas the retros that came out a couple of years ago the suede was sort of like nubuck... the OG's I used to brush the suede

Best Huaraches I've ever seen...missed em a while back and I don't think I'll find them for less than 200 anymore.

Some people are too quick to call fake - these sat on the clearance rack at a store near me for months til finally they dropped them to like $30 or so thenthey sold...

Good luck if you are still looking. You might want to put up a wanted post, I'm sure someone on NT has these lying around in their collection
