Updated. I like the album.
I would've liked to see their debut have come out when they were signed to a major label so it could've been pushed more on a bigger scale.
I'm curious to see if they go the independent route for the rest of the career or sign to another label, since they had that bad experience with Universal.
 
Wish they promoted this more to cuz it's album of the year material. Great quality hip hop music from beginning to end.

They were starving on Universal Motown, but I don't see them staying independent unless they can develop a much larger buzz/following.

Take Me Back - originally for Mania! but pulled off at the last minute





Rapper/producer Rich Kidd released a new project today and one of the tracks was originally for Pac Div’s last mixtape Mania! The track “Take Me Back” was pulled off at the last minute, but today everyone gets to hear the song. It sounds a bit different than the version I’ve had for over a year now, but it still one of my favorite tracks from the trio.

The track titled “Gimme What You Got” has that old school feel to it, because you may know the beat as Pete Rock & CL Smooth’s “Take You There.” For now we have the clean version of the song, but the explicit will be out this Sunday.
