i love Js but now he is just for the money back in the days he was about the shoes thats why im always on ebay getting ogs not at the stores in line

Retros don't take away from OG's because there OG's and they will be worth more and better quality.we all need retros, pretty soon all the OG'swill be unwearable and all we will have is retros.

like said before retros dont really take anything away from older models
i own a few OG's and a lot of early retros from 2000 - 2003, those years were when i did most of my jordan shopping
JB should just go back and retro them just like the way they were meant to be! dont BS

It's the quality of retros that makes owning them awful.

In a purely selfish way, I dont like when they retro a shoe that I already have. For instance, the infrared 6s next year. I really do hope they change the redcolor because I like feeling that my infrareds are not common, and are special. If they release them exactly the same (or even really close) I will probablysee a bunch of people wearing infrareds. Right now I dont see them that often and I kinda like it that way.
On the other hand, if I didnt have a pair already Id be very excited for the retro so that I could have a shot at getting them. So, I just accept it. Becausesometimes these retros are just what Ive been looking for (True Blues) so I cant really expect JB to only retro what I want. But I wish they would!

infrareds and most earlier retros were a widespread GR shoe, all were common, it's just that ppl wore out their pairs while some decided tokeep um fresh and/or totally DS for years to come.
i own tons of og's from the I- XX3 and i don't have hard feelings towards anything being retroed. i keep my og's DS and beat the retro pair

It's kind of bittersweet... for example, I bought the OG's in 1991 and never wore them, so I'm happy that they retro'd the Carmine VI's inthe CDP because I can finally wear a pair of Carmines, BUT the quality on the CDP VI's is so bad, that I don't wear them too much.
I only own a few OG's from back in the day, as I wore all my OG's to play ball back then and destroyed most of them, but I have a bunch of early retros(1994-2001) and I don't care if they re-retro any of them. Makes me appreciate what I have even more.

Personally I don't currently own a pair of OG's. I'm 19 so yea, but I like the idea of retros for people such as me who weren't able to obtaina pair of originals. The only problem is the quality of the retros. When I was younger I did have a pair of bred 12's which were some of the sturdiestpairs of bball shoes I have every played in. Now a days I'm hesitant to play in a pair of retros besides my carolina X's. They are a pretty solid pair!On another note...I HATE FUSIONS!!!! THEY ARE DEFINITELY RUINING THE JORDAN LINE!

I dont mind if they retro the same shoe again. It doesnt take away from my collection at all. If anything, im adding to my collection.Its not like JB is telling you to trade in all your old pairs for a new pair of same exact shoe were bringing out. So i would like to see retros done right. NO adding a lil symbol, or darker color to differiniate the shoes. Make it exactly the same way. Like i said, its not taking away from my collection. The fusions really hurt me. How are you bring out 6 rings that look identical to my Concord XI, to a person who doesnt really know the difference? How about Olive Fusions that take away from my Olive IX??
Quality has pissed me off more than anything. My CDP 4's cracked on me in less than a month. When i owned the 99's, they lasted 3 years before i seen any wear on the soles.
This is BS. Thats why i dont buy any new $**@. Lucky me, i grew up during the 2001 era while i had a good job. Releases were so easy to snatch up. Now JB thinks they can add a name to hype things up and make people waste their time by standing in line at 6am. Well it aint me.
So Good riddance JB. I hope you FAIL. Just like the soles of my CDP 4's did me...
yezzir.. grand hustle is the truth... you know the 1st generation retros were the business.... and like my man said they were so easy to cop that i rememberthe wht/fire red V's at the nike outlest with garnett III's... and if you been in the game since then there is no excuse to buy into jb's scheme...they dropped em all - og colorway i's, iii's, iv's, v's vi's, xi's PERIOD. no other jordan worth mentioning maybe 02 raptor vii'sand 2003 wht/red VIII's. and everything from the xiii-xiv and above was available in og form. all the new kicks dropping is aimed at the uneduacted youthwho are willing to spend mommys and daddys $ on packs that have the worst quality, worst cw's, and worst price tags. damn 1st gen xi's were all 125!!!iv's were 99.99!! and even the retro + that came out in during 99-02 were pretty decent... the wht/blue mid-cut 1's, low xi's, cg xi's.... nowkids gotta settle for gay-pride VI's haha...
