Jordan XX3 -> Jordan 2009 -> Jordan XX5?

now that we recieved word on the next Jordan being the XX5, and with Jordan Brand going back to their numbered series...

What is the 2009 going to be considered?

Collectors item?, mistake? (lol)

you cant rewrite history, the shoe will forever be known as the 2009 (2K9),

will this bring any significance to the shoe? being that its one of a kind...

NO SARCASM, NT is full of it, I really want honest opinions..

yeah, it was in one of the threads, they're having a design contest for the "XX5", i know, doesn't make any sense..but thenumber line never seems to dissapoint
 
Well your title implies that the 23s are gonna be better than the 25s..., so your assuming the number line will "disappoint"

And who the hell knows, we have no idea what the 25s are gonna look like
 
Maybe the failed release of 2k9 will be the turning point for JB. Maybe they will realize that many of thier faithful consumers are tired of JB and thedirection the company has taken. Maybe they will start to embrace the olden days of the 80s and 90s. Maybe they will give up on all these new fads and attemptto satisfy the people who got them where they are with good, quality, true retro releases.

I doubt it, but a man can dream though...

that is definitley not what i said, what i'm asking is what will the 2k9's be considered as?
since is not the XX4, it'll be one of a kind..

you cant expect much from a company, err, a BILLIONAIRE company thats holding a contest for the public to design their next signature shoe.

That contest has NOTHING to do with JB's plans for the next sig sneaker. it's still going togo by year (2k9, 2k10, etc etc etc).
 
2k9's are a nice shoe imo. they're comfy as hell. they should really stop making new numbers though. every year the price goes up like $10-$20
 
That's what happens when you try to cover up a mistake. You just kinda brush over it like it never happened. XX5 better be great.
