THERE WILL NOT BE AN AIR JORDAN XX5. THE PROJECT BLUEFOOT DESIGN COMPETITION IS A THEORETICAL THEME THAT IS NOT AT ALL RELATED TO THE RELEASE OF THE NEXT AIRJORDAN. IT IS A COMPETITION BEING HELD FOR THOSE WHO ENJOY DESIGNING AND COMPETING. ...and of course this will be followed by 50 more posts discussing howstupid JB is for going back to "XX5". LOL.

not trying to be sarcastic, but how can you say Jordan XX3 > Jordan XX5 when we don't know what it looks like yet????? the 25th anniversary may bringsomething great. at least consider that before you state your opinion.
 
Good to hear JB didn't back down on thier new numbering system. I was a bit scared when i saw the contest but thought it might not be related.

And for all the people saying how can you assume the XX5/2010 is better than the XX3, its an arrow not a greater than sign. I had to look at it for a second,too.
 
its sad that so many people in a message board community refuse to actually read posts. thats really all there is on a message board, reading. if youre notgoing to read and just look at titles and pictures and make assumptions thats where these ridiculous rumors come from. even though there has been multipleRELIABLE folks in this thread (and the previous) stating:
a) the next sig is the Air Jordan 2010
b) the design contest is not all that related to JB (they are not going to use the winning design or anything, they are just providing some prizes)

i fully expect more posts where people ignore both of these aspects.

In fact, I'm willing to be that when the 2010 is revealed to be called the 2010 there will be several posts asking "What happened to them beingXX5??"

I might also add that the contest actually used proper roman numerals XXV and it was only the person that posted that contest info that invented this XX5 crap.But look how it spreads.
 
yea they messed up on this one....u cant just skip a number like that lol....
either stick the the numbered series in the first place...or wehn u do something
else like the 2k9....stay doin something else....u cant have gaps where theres

No, nothing can salvage the 2009's..... I can't see them receiving any more credit, than what little they get, for them being possibly "one of akind" partyl because they were a horrible shoe. They almost looked as if they weren't finished!
 
^^ the only way to salvage the 2009s is too drop the price down to 49.99 and then they will finally sellout. but hope the bring tinker back. he is pure genius.

Indeed, but I had to cop the black/white ones when the guy at the store i went to told me they were 60% off, they were just wayyy overpriced imo.JB NEEDS TO REALIZE THEY KILLED OF THE NUMBERS ALREADY THERES NO GOING BACK
