havent listened to MOTM2 yet, so I wouldn't know. but I do know that MOTM wasn't the best album to come last year. amazing album, but not the best. 2009 was such a great year for music. sooooo many dope albums came out last year. unless youre only talking about hip-hop albums then yea, it's between MOTM and The Ecstatic

im impressed. Im not a cudi fan, he actually really sucks imo and motm was weak to me. But this is a lot better than i imagined it to be.

Yep. I don't even smoke and Cudi is dope (no pun intended) to me.
Obviously his sound and style is much different compared to all rap artists. His beats just have that perfect balance of not being too overly flashy (i.e Dream or Kanye) and not boring. When you combine that with his talent for making melodies it creates something so unique and long lasting. 

I'm starting to believe that he is the "Jimi Hendrix" of Hip-Hop...as ridiculous as that sounds.

And yea MOTM was album of the year 2009 all genres. You can't convince me otherwise. Only albums challenging this in 2010 are Distant Relatives, MAYA & Go.

The album is real good the more I listen to it.

The thing I liked about MOTM1 so much was it had a lot of tracks I could listen to while working out. Soundtrack to My Life, Heart of a Lion, My World, Cudi Zone, hell I even found myself running to Pursuit of Happiness and Hyyer

This for the most part doesn't have any songs I can see myself really playing at the gym, it's just full of songs that make you either wanna rage or just chill out. Overall though I'm still LOVING it.

Upon second listen, it's a decent album.. I didn't expect it to touch MOTM and it doesn't, but it's a decent sophomore effort.
