Shame on Jordan Brand...

jordan brand is making serious $$$, they put out the worse quality shoes and charge the highest prices and sell the most.... and MJ takes your money andgambles it all away in Vegas..... it's not even going to charity.....

A well written post and I have to agree with you. The quality has gone downhill. For those who say that kids will pay any price for a pair of reto jays why notjust increase the quality as well as the price ?

Seems like the logical thing to do imo
 
even if all of NT would stop buying from jb there are plenty of morons out there than think fusions are cool.

Maybe if we could get Americans to work and companies to produce items in the good Ole USA we'd be happier with the quality...Not gonna happen though. Keeprunnin 20000 shoes a day through a factory that employs 12 year olds and it doesn't matter how good the quality of the materials are...the end product isstill doo doo.

Yep. Remember when Nike was caught using sweatshops and Jordan was at his peak and there was this big controversy?

All Jordan had to say is: I demand Nike pays all its workers a living wage. And BOOM - no more sweatshops from Nike. He could have changed the whole game. Hestill could. But that could cost him and the Swoosh a few dollars off the bottom line - why would you pay adults to make shoes when you could force kids to doit for much cheaper? - so he didn't do it.

Nike made its name back in the late 70s/early 80s with a huge advertising budget. You know how a new company got money for ads? They cut back on productioncosts, moved them to 3rd world factories, in hong kong and thailand. Nike, since it started, has been a company obsessed with image and not too concerned aboutquality.

This is nothing new.

Now, JB can re-release shoes that came out decades ago... with inferior quality, lower quality materials.... and charge more than they did... and they'recopped.

If you've bought a JB product, you're not allowed to complain. Period. It's like McDonalds: you know you're getting trashy food. Either shut upor stop eating there. One or the other.


(Oh and before you ask, I've never copped a pair of Jays in my life)

Kids could care less about quality. Those same kids are the ones etin' up the Fusions. As long as the shoe matches with their fitted, tight shirt, andskinny jeans, they coppin'.
