I did that IS-F test run that is shown on that dyno looking platform. Thing sounded like a beast....

I was going to do that too but didn't have enough time. This year's LA Auto Show was one of best I've been to. No pics of the GT-Rthough, it's the most anticipated debut in the show.

I went there this past Saturday. I wasn't going to do it, but there was no line during the cooling period. They had one more run before they closed andI was just chillin at the booth, hoping they would let folks in early. I was the only dude so they let me in first.

Thing was fun....here's the video of it taken off my girlfriend'sdigital camera. Luckily it was able to take a decent video.
It was wack that we only got to shift to 4th but downshifting was beautiful. It blipped the throttle everytime you downshift. Thing sounded as if itwas burping.

Don't clown on the slow start. I was too busy taking in all the instructions since the guy kept blabbing that he started the damn light tree as he wastalking so I wasn't paying attention when the light turned green.

if so is it a concept?

weird looking lights.

I really love that new maserati though. Porsche looks clean too.

Nice pictures.

The black matte paint looks like its going to be the new "Black" paint. Did they say anything that Lexus particularly are going to start offeringthat color or are those just custom jobs?

Nice vid and no wonder it didn't seem like it was being pushed to the limit, it was only til 4th gear. But WOW at the sound at 4th gear, I wasthinking they let you guys go for up to 6th at least. I went on a friday and only had an hour left before they closed when I passed by so I didn't have achance to ride. I might be coming back this saturday though, I might give it a shot. I'm still in awe with the sound, I want to try it out to 8th gearthough. hehe.

Drophead coupe it is called. Not a concept. Already out on the streets.

It is a Rolls Drophead. There is some old dude around my area (La Quinta) rolling a metallic blue one. That thing is sick in person. Looks like aconvertible locomotive bailing down the street.

No it's just a show car that was built by a company called Five Axis. They created a wide body for the IS-F. I'm sure they will release that kitthough. It's a bit too agressive in my opinion. Only thing I hated was the front and the rear. I'm good with the wider fenders.

You definitely need to try it. It was pretty quiet from the inside but when it came from hearing it on the outside, that thing was screaming. I wished theylet folks go at least til 6th gear. It seemed detuned to me for some reason, then again it's on that roller platform, probably would react different onactual pavement.
