i bet it sucked be stuck in them subways

when i visited nyc and we took the subways, even with power they were still sweatboxes especially when they went underground

At the time, my pops had a hooked up van w/ TV, AC, couch, etc...so me and my fams just chilled there.

Had the whole block outside looking in,

I was 12 years old and we lived in a apartment then and we were playing manhunt inside the building cause the lights were still on in the stairs and thehallways also I remember looking outside and it was just pitch black other than the lights from the cars lol traffic jams everywhere

we only had 3 candles too cause we weren't prepared for it

after that my mom always made sure we have atleast 25+ spare lol

I'm friends with the girl who's dad was responsible for the blackout. He works at the power station in Cleveland from where it originated.

I was playing KOTOR when it happened. I thought it was just my apartment then I saw everyone out on the street. It was hot that day too. The police wereprepared for the looters if they started. Everyone downtown BK closed shop as soon as the lights went out. Downtown in 03 was not the same place it is today, you would get stomped out if someone felt like it. I just went to bed when the sun went down.

man I was still a youngin but I remember it, it was all over the radio but we brushed it off (because it was still daytime sunlight) as the sun sank we werelike oh snap, then I dont remember the rest

Today it would most likely be all sex and smoke, 2 greatest things in the world that require no electricity
