i have the black 2009's and the quality on those are so fine...these joints hold up and surprisingly comfortable.

I agree with the thread starter. The 2k9 design is pretty nice overall. I think what hurt the sale of this sneaker was the fact that it followed the xx3. Ifthis shoe was the follow up to another jordan it would have sold better. The irony of the 2k9 is that there is some similarity with the xiv with respect toribbing. The xiv sold well but people don't even give this shoe a second look. In all honesty, the 2k9 looks better than the xv,xix,xx,xx1,xx2. You guyscan't tell that if I lined up all the sneakers i just mentioned with the 2k9 and gave you $200 to buy any of those sneakers you would buy those instead ofthe 2k9. Add to the fact it was the first non-numbered jordan. I haven't bought a pair but I will pick up the white 2k9 along the line. The 2k9 dropping inoct. looks pretty good as well.

There's no nostalgic connection to the shoe. XX3's were dope, but they also put them out in a smaller numbers, and they still never sold out likecrazy. New model Jordans are never gonna sell like the retros cause they don't come with all the MJ memories and everything else.

The shoe is ugly and overpriced. IMO JB should have ended on a high note with the XX3, like the man himself( against the Jazz in 9

I like them, they're not the best looking Jordans out there, but they're definitely not the worst.
