what would you do if Jordans became out-of-style?
I understand theres some people who collect, but what about if Jordans in general just lost their..value?
would you try to get rid of yours ASAP?
hold on to them?

think about it, baggy clothes and jerseys were the thing about 5 years ago, but that died out, so YES Jordans can die out.

i'm just curious to see what people would do..

Air Jordans have survived for 25 years and they will continued to live.

Edit: I would never sell/get rid of my Jordans just because they die out... if they die out.

You're not a true Jordan head if you sell/get all of your Air Jordans just because they went out of style.

we arent interested in jordans because they are popular. we are interested in jordans because we appreciate and admirer michael jordans achievements. We copphis shoes to feel closer to him as a player

Well I think Jordan's are out of style, Now I barely see anyone with Jordan's. I just continue to wear them, many of my friends call me old schoolbecause all I wear are Jordan's. So no, I will keep all my Jordan's.

They put out crappy products, but people still buy them.

As long as people buys their products, Jordan Brand will never die.

They might be dead in your eyes, but to the new comers... it's a different story.

it's good that you are wearing what you like, and not what everyone else likes..dont think that i'm on the boat of everyone who just wears whats hot, icollect J's myself, it was just one of those hypothetical questions..

theres a major decline in sales, and that trend is going to keep going.. trust me, i know, i've been working in a shoe store for quitesometime, the last Jordan that sold out within minutes (like Jordans USED to), was the 11/12 package, but you already know the hype on those..everything afterthat, has been sitting on shelves, the 2009s got RTV'ed (return to vendor) a.k.a. they couldnt sell it so they're losing money

theres only so many retros you can cop..and by the time the good retros get put out, the shoe is butchered by a million other new colorways, I.E.the 1's

i'm not in that crowd if thats what you're trying to say, trust me, ALL i wear is Jordans (Retros).. but it was just a question to seewhat YOU would do, not what you THINK i should do

Just because the Jordans in the store didn't sell out, doesn't mean JB is going die.

We are in a recession man, of course there are going to be a declined in sales.

is that the same reason that the quality is what it is?.. i mean, im not one to complain about quality often, however, NT is full of people whodont talk about anything BUT quality, recession or no recession, the 2009's look like the 2009's.. you would think they would make something hot tostill make money in the recession, of course they're gonna blame the recession on the declined sales, but think about it, if its a recession, how and whydid the 11/12 package sell out within 10 minutes?.. a $310 sale.. in the midst of the recession..

In my area they aren't real popular to begin with (too many fakes going around). I wouldn't care if they went out of style. Eventually they will (likeall things), but I'm not concerned with what the shoes mean to society, I'm only worried about what they mean to me.

11/12 is probably the most hyped up CDP.
i agree with you %100, but it is what it is, lets see what the Space Jams do if they do release, considering they're $175

but be honest, i know you laugh when you see someone with shaq's on.. or some payless shoes.. its the same concept, just with a higher price tag

you buy the shoes to feel closer to him??

we like them because he shook up the shoe game Jordan's became a cultural thing almost a status symbol, he was great on the court, the shoes wereinnovative and they look nice. But I dont know if I buy Jordan's just cause I like Mike,

and to MF Jordan Brand knows what they are doing they have a lot of shoes up their sleeves they still havent retro'd or re retro'd, if they need cashmake a GR Release of a loved shoe make rumors of limited quantity and watch profits rise, they arent concerned about every shoe selling, they dont want tosaturate the market with shoes they know will sell out because that takes away from the shoe, and in the long term their bottom line profits. Nike is one ofthe first companies to limit production numbers drastically to create hype, and it works. The 2K9's dont sell out but they sell, the Fusions sell despitehate, and watch the Space Jams, the VI's and the Rumored City Series X's get grabbed up in seconds, they know what they are doing over there

ok, i cant take any of what you said away.. but its kinda like....out of 10 shoes, if 4 look bad, and 6 look good..instead of making 10 out of 10look good, they're only profiting off of 6 of them, the other 4? lost money that couldve been used to produce more of what the consumer wants, think aboutit, JB sells us what they want, come on, fusions?, i have never heard of one person (shoe collecter) talk about the idea of fusions until JB invented it.
