Something to think about...

classics never go "out of style"...

this isn't a fad to those who grew up on the original releases...

I'm going to keep liking and wearing them like I have been since the 80s...
 
what does style have to do with anything. i seldom see people in jays here in aus. no one i know shares this passion with me. makes no difference to me.

Well all that stuff were fads. Baggy clothes took a while to catch on and die out. I remember the only people wearing their clothes baggy were Kris Kross.During there reign jerseys were the thing. Now Jordans are another thing. They were the most expensive tennis shoes when they were first release up until theNike Air Uptempo's dropped. Now the market is flooded its a new standard. So yeah I see Jordans falling off to the point where they don't really sell.
 
Jordans will not fall off to the point where they wont sell. The market is flooded with new sneakers yes but what other company besides Nike (who JB is brandedwith) has the buzz that JB does on release days. Who has lines? Who has stores opening 2-3 hours before normal open time? Who has us looking at releases thatare like 6 months away or even more? Until that buzz dies, JB will not.

It would be VERY short sighted to jump ship and sell them off just because they went "out of style" so to speak. Frankly, they already have gone outof style to some extent. Baggy clothes and jersey's have gone in and out, and then in and out of style again and again over the last 25 years. Trust when Isay, nut-hugging tight jeans are NOT going to last long either. That said, I collect Jordans because I love them. I love Michael Jordan. His career, hislegacy, his persona. It's a mix of genuine appeal, nostalgia and comfort.
 
some would say they already are out of style. im wearing mine for life, or until the materials break down, whatever comes first

First, I have never wore my Jordans because they were in style. When I got back into buying Jordans in 99 after high school, I bought the Cement IV's wheni was in Hawaii. Here is Houston, nobody cared that I was wearing them, nor the Fire Red V's, or the Infrared VI's when I bought those too. I wore thembecause its what I like. Also, there will ALWAYS be a fellow shoehead that notices and gives you props somewhere along the country, So they will nevercompletely go out.

ill still rock mines because i like them and if they go out of style then oh well
 
Jordans are beyond whats in or out of style...they're like a pair of Levis...timeless...only you as a person goes out of style.

I don't know about y'all, but I cop and rock because I like them. F what everyone else feels. In style, outta style............ that's for thebirds man!
 
i could care less about style ive been wearing jordans since the og 1s my love for these shoes goes wayyyy beyond any type of style or trend in fact i stillwear alot of jerseys 2 im grown with a family and there the only ones that i care what they think everyone else can piss off if they dont like my jordansbecause it will always be my style

Exactly! I wear to remember him and memories of when I was growing up.... Who the ^%#$^ cares if they are popular?!
 
I will continue to wear Jordans as long as they appeal to me. I say that because alot of things that i like and wear are not in style per say ie. Evisu jeans ,BBC clothing and Lacoste just to give u a few examples.
 
If it's something you really like, keep wearing it, whether or not it's in style. FUBU lost their popularity a looong time ago, but I really liked thejeans, so that's what I still wear.

I would prob like wearing my js even more cause then I would have a less-copied look and thus be wearing stuff that no one else did.

I would always rock em, cause unlike other fads in the world, JB is not a fad its a commemoration to the greatest ball player of all time...And one of mypersonal heroes.
