I get the exact same from the wife everyday, she hates my J's and i get crap for sittin on the computer all the time. Im sure its the same for many dudes.That guy is exactly the way i am, no matter whats goin on im always thinkin about J's in the back of my mind.

Females are always trying to mess with what guys like. I hate that. Better a sneaker addiction then a DRUG ADDICTION, IMO. My girl doesn't mind mine mostof the time. She rocks J's too sometimes.

She should be supportive of what he does and move on. After all, she married him. I'm sure he spent $12K a year, or more, when she first met him soit's not like he just changed all of a sudden. At least he is drug free and has been faithful to her. My wife gives me hell all the time and I only spend acouple thousand a year on shoes and get this...she spends more on designer handbags and purses compared to me spending on J's.
BUT...
I can understand how she is being affected by his spending habits AKA "CSD". I think that he can spend less on shoes and still get the satisfaction(or quick fix) he needs and pay more attention to their relationship and be more finacially educated by putting himself on a spending budget so that both canget what they want and still be happy.

If my girl had a serious problem with me buying a lot of sneaks, she either gotta learn to live with it or leave. I would never choose sneakers over my girl,but at the same time this is something that I get enjoyment out of. It's not a fashion/ballin thing, it's a me thing. Change that and I'm no longerthe same person I used to be (if anything I would be miserable). In my mind it's no different from a person who collects sports cards or rare music albums.

I am no where near his level. I did go on a little sneaker bindge last year spending about $3k and I cause me to neglect my girlfriend. She's gone they arestill here. I would rather the opposite. They now sit in the closet and I wont wear them. They remind me of a relationship ruined.
