"Deep Cover" VS. "Twinz".. Which one is Better?

Don't let hate for Joey blind you, he spit a hard verse too. And if anyone wants to bring up the who wrote it argument you can check thecredits on Deep Cover as well.

Anyways I think we need to break this down bar for bar, cause I don't see what makes Deep Cover better other than it being the OG.

Some can argue that since that was the high point of the WHOLE song that Deep Cover as a WHOLEwas better but...NAH.

And breaking Twinz down bar for bar proves nothing. You could break down Canibus' and 50 Cents' first albums bar for bar and on paper Canibus' s___will look like the greatest thing ever written... Would that make it a BETTER ALBUM than Get Rich or Die Trying?
 
Dumb question...Pun took ownership of this song after that "deadinthemiddleoflittleItaly" line.

Deep Cover hits hard but mainly because of the beat and the chorus.

As a song it doesn't make much sense (Dre and Snoop are undercover cops in the 1st verse and in the chorus and last two verses are talking 187 on an undercover cop).

Twinz is way better lyrically. Pun's entire flow on the song kills anything Snoop ever did. And I love Snoop.

Don't let love for an old school classic fool you.
 
Man i was thinking bout this the other day. Id prob go with Twinz slightly over Deep Cover. Deep Cover shoulda been on The Chronic or Doggystyle or something. It deserved so much more than to be on a movie soundtrack smh
 
two classics but i have to go with Twinz. Pun's verses on it were :x :smokin

Let's not get it twisted Joe the God verse was great but pun outshines him a lil bit, joe one of my all time favs along with pun. Early 90s joe......Lord knows
