Which Retros are truest to OGs?!? Vol..carbon copy

just wanted to know what everyone thinks on the production of Retros and how true they are to...

*material
*color tone
*badges
*cushioning
*fit

because i often ask myself..."i wonder did the cushion in the OG 1, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9s really feel like this?!? because those are some of the most sturdy, butrock hard Js ive ever worn....i know most if not all player wear special insoles...but theres no way i could have gone a whole 80+ games wearin those shoes!
but imo, the Retros truest to all of the points i listed above are the 2, 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, 14

....thats why i decided to make this post! because when iwas wearing my OG player sample wht/red on the court the other day....i decided to put on my blk/red retros today....and couldnt notice the difference!

the XIIs did a excellent job with the zoom air and shape of the shoe! all of the OG colorways were done nice....but the blk/red retros are not the same red asthe OGs...its slightly darker..

i have to disagree with the XIVs. They are my favorite model so I may just be picky, but they were a huge disappointment. They had no air vent, the suedequality was the worst I've seen, the sock liners were completely different (and for some reason love to slowly eat my socks). The black/red XIV is myfavorite shoe ever. But the retros were so poorly executed they are nearly unwearable in my eyes.
 
does anybody own some OG 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, or 9s?!? how is the cushioning compared to the retro's?

i really had to go out and buy some comfy insoles for the pairs i play ball in! but all of my other retros, and OG 15-23 dont have that problem at all
 
I own Og 7's, 8's, 10's, 11's, 12's, nd 13's.
Honestly every single pair of Og's i own feel waay better than that of the retros.

This has nothing to do with models, its' all about time of release, any retro released BEFORE the true blue 3s in 2001 was "up to par" inrepresenting its original couterpart. I say " up to par" because even though they still had quality materials, Nike Air, etc, none of them are 110%exact.

94/95 are the best, no debate.
99-retro 8 in 2003, these are really really good, genuine leather and everything
retro 12 in 03- retro 10 in 05, these arent too bad, some issues, alright at best. The AJIV died on 7/24/04.
retro XIV in 05-present, IMO these only resemble the looks of originals, yet somehow they have higher prices.

retroes these days arent even comparable to previous retroes, so my advice to you young folks in here that have a true passion for jordans and arent justworried about looking "fresh", I have a friend I want to introduce to you, his name is eBay.

since 06...TRASH.
 
carmine 6? except for jumpman and different leather waspretty good with the shape..
 
14's aren't even close. the "breathing vent" on the inner side of the shoe is covered by the insole in the retros. another reason to believethese retros are just for looks only.

none of the retros "truly" were the same to the OG's. i've had almost every older retro and a few og's as well but they just weren'tthe same. for example, the 99-00 retros were great quality but the og's just were more special.
