***College Teams wearing X's***

ok in the past few days i have noticed a lot of college basketball players wearing the air jordan x's.... Last night atleast 5 usc players including OJMAYO himself were wearing these, and now today i noticed that south carolina has a few players wearing them.... i know these retroed quite a while ago so ifind it odd that a lot not just a few players are wearing them...
Does this mean that they have been re released?? Are they like team exclusives??? i know the shadows are in the countdown package, but if they release a fewmore colors that would be great they are one of my favorite shoes to ball in..... does anyone know or heard anything of this...

those schools are sponsored by nike so they get them free. im pretty sure if they go out and purchase them on there own, nike or the school gives them themoney that they paid for the shoes.

i find it strange they would wear Xs... why not a retro better for basketball like XII, XIII, or XIV...?

Yeah i'm pretty sure OJ is i have watched him play since 7th grade and also almost every one of his games at north college hill and then he went to wv andleft me nothing to watch.... but anyways he always had a new pair of shoes it seemed, especially some nice jordans.....

My friend whos the team manager for Washington told me that players at nike schools get pretty much any nike they want and can get older jordan retros, theytell the trainer and calls someone at nike and they send the shoes. im not sure if they make em new or they are just left over in a wharehouse somewhere. Healso told me that they have to buy all new j's at the store (he said a bunch of the guys had to buy the aquas with their own money). So i hope that helpeda little bit.

Well Syracuse wears the VIII's.. Most of their whole team wears the white and orange VIIIs. Although they're not X's I just wanted to point thatout

Cincinnati is not sponsored by Jordan Brand and they havent been for 2 years they are sponsored by adidas trust me i live here in cincy.... the only two teamsi know is carolina and G-Town.... BTW does anyone have any pics of the lsu X's ive never seen them.....
