what did people think about the nu retro?

well i was in niketalk back in 2003 but i don't remember what people thought about the nu retro 1 and 2. i bought the white/red nu 2 because i alwayswanted the 2's which came out the next year but did people hate them like the fusion? and what are they worth in the sneaker world? they did retro the nu 1would they retro the nu2 and would they even keep the nu alive with more number?

agreed...the navy ones actually look legit...to get back to you OP, I dont remember these being highly praised or anything like that back in '03

They were looked at as another team shoe really...

I don't remember them being much hatred towards them. Not like fusions atleast.

Back then, a large majority disliked the Nu-retros. Most people wanted the originals released instead of the stuff coming out of JB. Much like it is now. Ithink people who grow up with these releases will have nostalgia for them later on. Five years from now, people on this board (different ones from the currentmembers) will demand that Jordan Brand release the Fusions like they were originally released in 2008 and 2009 and the hype will continue.

i remember, there was not as much hate as the fusions. but it didnt sell well also. i myself bought the nu 1 red/white at 50% off when they first released.
