I got a question about Vick... anyone who knows cares to chime in?

I think they droped him, I know when Kobe was having his legal issues Nike just pushed him off in the corner till it died down but Vick is going to have toprove himself marketable again

Yea but Kobe was never convicted. I don't see Vick ever being a Nike athlete again. Especially with LT and AD being the faces of Nike football
 
from what i remember his shoes weren't selling before hand. so when this happened it gave them a chance to break the deal and move on...
 
I doubt it. If does get an indoresment deal it'll be with starter or pony.

No his shoes sold... and they were moving full steam ahead... but many heads were pissed when this occured and they almost wasted designs on him but used hislast one for LT...

Kenzo is heading up Nike Football now, so watch for some good stuff to come out of there with him AND Jonothan Griffin the guy who did the Super Bad II and hassome nice stuff this year as well.
 
The Vick line was a hit. The Vick I and II are classic. I remember the unveling of the latest Vick shoes, were a big deal here on NT.
 
I absolutely loved the first three shoes in his signature line. All three were very comfortable, and the design was outstanding IMO.

With the sensitivity many have shown on the topic, I am surprised there wasn't more discussion on the graphics on that laser edition (the pit next to theboxing gloves)

And I could be wrong, but I believe the first Vicks actually outsold the Zoom Generations. Anybody remember hearing about that?
 
when the news broke and he was convicted, i remember that all the vick shoes were sent back to nike even from the outlets and all pictures of him in any storeswere replaced or covered up
