4g's? Am I reading that right? Enh, hardly what the astronauts go through... not even what fighter pilots worry about. And 52,000 feet? It's high, butit's not space.

You mean to tell me you don't want to release the cure for aids & cancer but you're still trying to find new ways to get to space?

The plane posted is a ferry for SpaceShip Two which is the space vehicle. NT Reading comprehension FTL (Actually, I doubt half of you guys even read thearticle).

In addition to carrying SpaceShipTwo, the airplane also will carry future astronauts on training missions.

The posted ferry vehicle is obviously not designed for space flight. To be as simple and non-engineer as I can be: The plane has jet engines....whichneed oxygen. There is no oxygen in space.
THIS is what you will ride in on your way to space. This is Spaceship Two...which is designed for spaceflight.

The Ferry is used to get to a suffieicent altitude, then the space vehicle is dropped and it's own rocket engines ignite sending you to space.

Since the Ferry has changed since the picture, I'm sure the production model of SpaceShipTwo looks different as well. The system is actually very costefficient and rather ingenious. However, don't expect your flights to be very long. This launch system lacks the power to get to orbit. Getting into orbitand staying there is a whole different ball game.

I remember watchin Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous and they were talkin about Branson making some type of space plane and it'd cost a million to take aride.. this was in like 05'-06' I think.
 
space would be a nice view and a mind blowing experience..........but naaaa, im good

too much could go wrong, and what if you get stuck or lost in space?!?

They're just silhouettes of various planes/shuttles.
