***The Official Slabz && Swangaz Thread***

Ive got mixed feelings about swangaz now. It seems like they gettin commercialized. Swangas and a grill in your mouth used to represent something. The realdudes are still riding 4's its just alot more people riding them that are new and dont really represent what they do. Swangaz are really some old schoolgangsta @!%$. You used to only be able to buy them off the street until texas wire wheel started making them.

Creative as hell.

Theres only a handful of cars out of those that look good.

there is a ice box on the side that you cant see in this pic. && dude got spinning 2-prongs on his swangaz. his slab holdin foreal mayne.

Slabs are nice when done right and tasteful.

Just like every car culture, you have real nice ones, then you have some that aren't so nice.

Love Park Ave's, Lasabre's, Century's, Regals, and all Cadillac's on swangas/4'z/elbows.

Why do I feel as though my IQ dropped about 6 points reading these Texas dudes replies? NOM TOMBOUT?!?!

Take an English course, my goodness...

I like the look of slabs more so than any geographic area's traditional custom car genre. However, as with most cultures, kids spending their financial aidmoney on paint and rims is
smh.gif
. Also, most people don't even have "84's" any more. Everybody gets the new replicas--can't blame them, though. Better quality and price.

Six pages and no blades? (especially after the wanna be a balla topic was created

)

Maybe it's my area in the H (suburbs), but I see a lot more blades than elbows. I've seen blades on everything. From your usual suspects like the 96bubble impala to mini vans

.

These are blades for the outta-towners.
Not slabz, but just wanted to show the rims

W-body Impalas on blades

I love looking through this thread.

I love blades also. Whenever I get my car, I'm planning on starting off with the black blades with the chrome lip also.

But for now, I'm rollin' stock in my Avalanche, pushin' 2 15" L7 Kickers though.

my boy in the H had a tangerine orange escalade w/ ostrich seats and matching piping on 24" blades...

he took a chic to hotel derek by the galleria and came out and his truck was gone...they found it on the northside stripped down clean...

he gets sick whenever he sees blades to this day...

I think I saw that car on the freeway on a flatbed tow truck after the ordeal. I remember looking at it like

because EVERYTHING was taken off of it, andthat was a really unique color/car combination.

to hear it that.

That Charger is cool, but actually looks really basic. The slabs posted in here (for the most part) have had lots, and lots of work done to them to make themtruly unique... and some are relatively tasteful in comparison to others.
