SwanginOn4z - Could you post more pictures of CTS's on swangas, the newest Impalas, and possibly an Avalanche?

I've never seen it on a Avalanche, but I've seen it on Escalades. pimp.gif

I wanna throw them on my Avalanche, but 6G's and that's for 20"? frown.gif

Those things are ugly as hell lol.

Just like those "spinnas" that everyone thought were so great.

I don't care how expensive they are. lol

Flat out ugly and will be laughed at within five years.

not long ago chains, sneakers, and rims were reserved for ONLY OG drug dealers and street hustlers that had respect on da street and could floss...you couldn't be a terry cloth and

shinin'....streets would eat you up fast, thats why those 84' rims are so traditonal for Houston natives...only da cats wit da most clout could roll wit those in da hood and not be

touched...you was makin a bold statement. lil kids these days got it easy image

Actually, it is.

Only the playas, pimps, and og's could only afford swangas when they first came out, because they were going for $6,000-$10,000 a set.

Only the rich white guys could afford Cadillacs with all the trimmings [83'z/84'z/belts/buckles/paint jobs...]

So, when black guys started making money, they started buying Cadillacs wit hall the trimmings and it still stands today as a status thing in Houston/Louisana.

i person..so i can only imagine da reaction of a typical NYer as you drive by...i remember when a couple DONKS drove around my way wit Miami plate..people starrrrrred at these cars

I have to take a trip to Houston, sounds fun as hell.

I wanna see some slabs.
That would get laughed @ down here.

That swang BS is only respected in Texas...VIP is respected world wide.
i admire da rest of da United States when it comes to cars...they got pride when it comes to ridin da classic American car brands, whether its a donk, a slab, or a lowrider

they dudes ain't messin wit nuffin foreign..it just doesn't "pop" and floss as hard as something that's genuinely got hot with da native's of each of their respective areas.

many people that i talk to from either atlanta or texas tell me all da time "only squares think they can cop a regular benz, bimmer, acura, infiniti, etc. and think they gonna

out pimp a classic Cadillac or Chevy drippin wet"

Good info swangin, its hard to explain to outsiders of houston or even texas. Its prideful and a rite of passage and not just anybody can swang. I remember hearing paul wall say he got jacked for his slab when he was young. Personally i dont like the rims to be poking out that much but overall slabs and swangas are appreciated

image MAAAAN this boy SwanginOn4z done jumped dine and made a post about swangz! Boys on here ain't gon feel you mayne. Like Bun said, "They don't know..."

Fa real though, down here if you gettin bread it's a must that you get you a ole school and slab it out. You could have a Benz, a Beamer, a Bentley...but yo collection ain't complete until you ridin slab on Sundays. Candy paint, 84's pokin, pop trunk lit, 5th wheel tippin, belts and buckles, wood grain & leather, Vogues rollin, beat knockin, and a naked lady on the hood. That's how we roll dine here mayne.image

*** I don't really type like that just thought it appropriate for this post. image.............But really though, f ya'll if ya'll don't like our slang. image***

ualreadyknow23 - Word to your screen name. pimp.gif I would post the "They Don't Know" video, but it's against NT rules now. laugh.gif

Simple as this, if you don't like SLABS/SWANGAS then don't come in this thread. Every region of places have their own taste/culture/styles.

I love slabs/swangin'/84'z/pop trunk/neon lights.
If I had my "dream SLAB" it'll be similar to this picture.

I just want an 05-06 Cadillac CTS with some Super Pokes, 5% Tint, 2-3 15's in the trunk, a VERY good alarm, suicide doors, and trunk popping.

I like neon lights, candy paint, belts, 5th wheels, and etc, but it's not for me. laugh.gif

Safety is an illusion, no one is safe riding swangs in Houston

The whole thing about having respect in the hood is OLD practices

That is not gonna help you anymore

Actually, that stopped 10+ years ago

Cats dont care, they see you on swangs by yourself or out of your area, they're trying you early

Every dude on swangs either has a gun or robbed someone else for their swangs

It's funny because you can ride on better rims worry free
