Official AUTHENTIC NBA JERSEY Post - Bringin Back the JERSEY ERA... (Info/Guide = Page 1)

Does anyone think that Adidas or M&N will release a Jason Kidd jersey (similar to the old white Dr J New York Nets one) in response to his number being retired by the Nets?

no, if they are gonna make a Kidd jersey to represent his number retiring it would be the Nets jersey he wore majority of his career.

would be worthless tho :lol:
 
Hi guys, Im sorta kinda new to Niketalk, but I recently want to get back in the authentic collection game. Roughly 10 years ago I had about 15-20 authentic. Some serious FIRES, but I sold a bunch of them off in college. So here are the only 3 jerseys I have currently, hopefully you guys will see me here back in the thread soon.

Also, I HATE Mitchell and Ness, I would consider myself a purist and a person buying a $500 recreation just doesn't do it for me, just wanted to get that off my chest

1 more thing, I would like to think that I am the only person on Earth with an authentic Ewing on the Sonics, that was my first authentic ever and I remember picking it up at the NBA Store not long after he retired in the bargain section for $75.

I've got a Jordan pinstripe authentic from '95-'96, but I absolutely hate how sloppy the dual-layer with satin stitch technique used for the twill looks. I'm trying to find a Jordan pinstripe authentic with the gold NBA logo sewn into the jersey with triple-layer twill, but all I can find are patch over gold logos w/dual-layer.

CRAZY, I was looking through my old hard drive and I found about 1/3 of my old collection. These were the pics took when I was about to sell them on eBay...damn, I miss them. The only one I still have left is the Ewing Sonics. wack  :frown:
 
and before I get roasted, yes that white Jordan Bulls was customized at the NBA Store. I know kill me. The Nike tag was for the era right after he retired. I sold that baby for over $500 to some dude in France, made a killing.

also, quick question. The  90s throwbacks they wore last year (ie Hawks, Bucks, Pacers,etc) did Adidas ever sell those authentics to the public? not the M&N throwbacks, but the authentics for a guy like Josh Smith, Brandon Jennings, Paul Geoge, etc. ?
 
I recently found my old collection of jerseys. They still worth anything? I mostly have nike authentics

Post pics, but before check to make sure there are no Nike checks on the top part of the jersey. If they are then it's a swingman and it wouldn't be worth much
