thanks fam

What makes me doubt is I've seen a few of those Finleys that didn't have the issues I mentioned but I guess this one just happens to be from a bad batch lol

Plus I find it a bit odd someone would have bothered making a fake Finley jersey...
That Finley looks good to me

I own a fake Reebok TJ Ford Milwaukee Bucks jersey. At first I never thought than anybody would ever make one..

Also need a legit check on this Kobe, at a glance the jersey looks good but the jock tag looks a little bit off place.

* WHY are all the pictures turns up side down???

since no one answered

the Kobe is a really bad fake

Can you guys help me with another random legit check?

I got this Dri-Fit Finley on ebay for cheap with another jersey and I'm pretty sure it's fake but the seller assures me he got it from the NBA store back then so I thought I'd get another opinion just to be sure. Plus I find it a bit odd someone would have bothered making a fake Finley jersey...

here are the pics:

As for what I find is off about this jersey:

First of all, the jock tag looks off, especially the font of the size numbers - the 4s have a pretty distinct shape on the couple of Dri-Fit jerseys I own.

The cut also looks off - and the jersey is rather short for a 48 Dri-Fit.

Also, the NBA logo doesn't look like the usual one used on other jerseys made in Salvador, and the way some of the "Dallas" letters are cut is pretty sloppy.

The number 4 also looks a bit different from other Finley jerseys I've compared it to (with a wider space between the arms of the 4) and the material isn't the regular tackle twill. The star on the back also looks off.

So, yeah... I think it's fake.
I bought a dri fit Dirk jersey at the NYC nba store in 2004 if my memory serves me right. Still have it but it's beat to death. I'll try to dig it up and look for any differences between mine and the Finley.

My first reaction is the right part of the jock tag (where the nba logo is) looks weird.

IMO counterfeiters got really good at making fake dri-fits and reeboks that unless I know I have a real one to compare to, I tend to stay away from 2000's authentics

Bored at home w nothing to do since there ain't school for meh lol. So I decided to wrap my grails in plastic. Probably 7 percent of my collection here.

ah man I'm so happy right now because after literally years of searching, I have finally found my Jerome Williams jersey...words can't describe...girlfriend doesn't understand

Group shot with the other ones I have; this set is complete, I'm going to look around to see how I can frame them

side note: does anyone have pictures of their jerseys framed?

Blank Dino must be legit but it doesn't have the Raptors wordmark on the front so you'd need to find someone who can add that on in addition to customizing it.

I have to say this is a FAKE item. Sry about that bro.

Something clearly wrong with the nike brand size tag. The number "4" should be slightly wider and "shorter" if it is a legit one. This is a typical fake sign and people who make fake nike jerseys tend to copy this mistake again and again. I know this is tiny, but once it shows up, you've got a crystal clear answer..just need to be careful to deal with such jersey from ebay.

so the real number "48" should be something like this:

feel the difference.

jersey4thewin posted a Pierce Celtics jersey of nike 48 a couple of weeks ago for auction on ebay and had the exactly type of issue: the "4" was fake.

hope this helps.

thanks man. I'd tend to agree with that - the jock tag and the shape of the '4' was the biggest red flag for me as well since as far as I know the font is supposed to be consistent. I looked at it again earlier and the difference's pretty obvious when you put it next to a known legit jock tag - here's a comparison pic:

I think I'll just go ahead and return it even if it's going to be a pain. But damn, if it's fake I have to say they did a pretty good job overall

good looks, i havent had or messed with any nikes so wouldnt have even noticed the 4. all i remember was back in the day they had some very very good Piece, Finley, and Kobe fake authentics that were very hard to tell from real.

Thanks fellas.

I've always loved that particular Hawks jersey.

agree. IDK where these fakes from, but some of them are pretty good from the first glance (I really hate to say this though...). Need to pay 100% attentions to make the right judge.

btw, nice to meet you here Zyzz
