Official AUTHENTIC NBA JERSEY Post - Bringin Back the JERSEY ERA... (Info/Guide = Page 1)

Hi guys! Thought about getting a customized Warriors authentic. Do they fit true to size? I'm 6.1, 216 lbs and usually wear a 48 in Champion authentics. Besides that, can you recommend any other sources than the official NBA store or Fansedge that also offer international shipping?

lol that's actually the guy I bought it from. Looks like he relisted it right away

Is the blank a Rev 30?

think hes referring to order one from nba.com

they are a slim fit so get bigger than what you normally wear

I'm not an expert about Nike authentics. But I'd definitely put the penny on that Finley. If that's fake, that's the best one I've ever seen.

Just tell me one thing, since you've a lot better with this.

Is there a possibility that Nike changed the font on jock tag at one point while they were official retailers?

For example, Reebok did that a couple of times so there are always question about the authenticity of Reebok authentics. There is actually a couple of jock tags with different font which are are legit (besides a lot of fakes of course).

I'm just looking at the photos that Xavier uploaded, they're zoomed enough so all details can be easily seen.

Letter, numbers, stitching, cut, neck tag,... Everything looks perfectly made.

One more detail - did you notice that there's a tag stitched inside the jersey? Tags with washing instructions on it.

I've never seen ANY fake having that tag stitched inside. Not just Nike fake but any brand!

If this is fake, it's really impressive.

They should allow those guys to make fakes of each brand then!

So he actually still hasn't shipped it to you?

In that case you're good, no hassle if you doubt if it's legit.

I'm saying again, that looks perfect to be fake.

But I'll have to trust the guys who know a lot more about this...

There might be many spots where you can tell a fake from a legit, but this font of "4" is kinda like an universal truth. If you see it, you can make the right call right away, regardless how "real"  the rest part of the jersey seems to be. I've been dealing with more than 100 of nike's authentic jerseys in the size of 4X (not the very original ones with the "U" neck design"), and EVERYONE of them follows this rule.

Anyway, as I always think, if you really like a particular jersey and you feel you can live with it even if it is not a legit one, I'd say buy it, because what we love is the jersey itself, not the issue of whether its legit or not.

Thanks. Appreciate your detailed explanation.

I wonder if you know for sure, but I guess these are the only fakes with washing instructions stitched inside?

I don't remember seeing any other, of any brand.

I gotta question I know a few of y'all would know. Did they sell the authentics of the St. Patty's jerseys the first few years they made them or did they only sell swingman jerseys?

Thanks fellas

few:smile:

get question about older m&n jerseys. what about nba logo patch on shoulder?  i've founded some jerseys made the same way, only difference is logo. some got white border/rim some got clean logo without it. which are fakes? is it possible that some jerseys with borders on logo are legit?

example

My home Wilkins is just like this one and everything's on point so I sure hope it's legit

I've seen a few old M&N editions with the NBA logo that has a white border like that - I don't know what's up with that but I certainly don't think a white border on the nba logo necessarily means the jersey's fake.

And wash tags on the inside don't mean much - Reebok fakes have them as well. It's probably a detail most counterfeiters don't bother getting right but it can't be very hard to replicate if they do.

I don't think I've ever seen the authentics anywhere - only issued ones. I may be wrong though...

^ yeah, I know the last 3-4 years it's only been swingman. I was wondering if anyone knew for a fact whether or not they sold the authentic version the first few years they wore them. I am dying for a Knicks one and I can't find one anywhere. Just some issued ones which go for $1000+

No they did not sell authentics ever for any teams. Jersey joe had offered pro cuts for like $600 back in 06? I always wanted the piece with the gold letters. Such a sick jersey

A couple of days ago I picked up an authentic size 40 76ers Reebok authentic that's blank. I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea on what it's worth? Debating on whether to sell it or turn it into an AI.
