^hell yeah. adidas dropped the ball for real... the thought of throwbacks with mesh numbers has me salivating.

One guy on the other jersey forum had most of those HWC authentics with the mesh numbers. They were gorgeous :smokin

Side note: anyone still looking for that limited M&N Jordan All-Star jersey in sz 36 @ $250, NYC Store's got two left. I usually wear 40 and gave it a try but couldn't even get the thing over my head

Same here. They didn't have a fitting room and the workers got nervous thinking I might rip apart the damn thing just trying it on.

Did they have The Shot jerseys in stock?

Nope, the two sz 36 ASGs were the only Jordan jerseys they had.

i wish i could go back in time and buy all those kobe jerseys when they were on clearance for $80

Because they're morons. Always disliked Adidas

Maybe it is because Nike and Reebok (at least at that time) were US based companies at that time and had a different feeling/ approach to the NBA and merchandise.

Adidas is a German company and it's core is Soccer and Athletics. They have never been big in Basketball. I think they really only first got into the league, when they got Kobe Bryant under contract and that was only in 1997 and to be honest, I do not think Adidas right now has any super duper crazy guys under contract, John Wall is a good player and Derrick Rose could get back to his 2011-2012 level, but what are those guys compared to LeBron, Kobe, Durant??? Nike just dominates by far.

It is a shame that Adidas is not taking more advantage of their NBA deal, but maybe they got certain restrictions from the NBA!

Their authentics are really nice and they have some neat apparel, but that does not do it all at the end!

I also think that it is sad that they did not sell authentics of the HWC jerseys, they could easily ask for USD 350-400, I would still buy it!

I would really like to see the financial statement and win-loss account of their Basketball section!

I must be honest I really hope Nike gets the next deal and with this strange new authentics with logos on the back and sponsors, I will probably try to get my hands on stuff that was done until 2013-2014, since this Europeanization of the league in that matter is first of all a shame and way too late and it is anyways only going to be big companies, which makes it even more disinteresting. I have always admired the fact that USA sports have no sponsors on their jerseys, it embraced the clean design, look and style!

this guy...asking 350-400 and you would still buy...? good for you?

ok what about everyone else?

id love to see the sales on the revolution 30 authentics because i can bet you a large amount of money that they are piss poor. thats why some teams have actually STOPPED ordering and selling them

dont ask me how i know but its the truth. what exactly does that tell you? team stores are no longer spending $100+ or w/e adidas charges on each authentic just to have them sit in store or online and have to slash prices and actually lose money.

only the major teams are still keeping stock and i can guarantee they arent even selling that well at retail price.

I think the authentics, so what the players actually wear are on point and marketed right and in limited quantites, people would spend USD 350-400 for the HWC authentic game jerseys easily! I myself would buy at least 4! About the replicas and Rev authentics, I do not really care, since I do not collect that!

As I already said, I think the communication between adidas and the teams is not the best, otherwise all those things would sell better, but I am not an employee of Adidas and I do not know what the contract detail situation is!

Does anyone think jerseys will come back in style like they were in the early 2000's? And would you even want to see them come back in style?

Good question I was thinking about. I would say yes, at one point they might come back in style, but no where near as crazy as it used to be. And no, I really wouldn't want them to come back in style. Just my opinion.

id def take one as well. was one of my fav jerseys currently in the league.

used to have the Rose with mesh numbers when they first released. It was a XL so i had to sell it :frown:
