1. in early years i raised at house with number 51
2. get tattoo with that number
3. it's my number
was wearing it in high school and right now in my team4. metta was playing with that number
so when ho choosed 51 i was more than happy!

My vote would probably be for #37, the number of weeks Michael Jackson's "Thriller" was #1 on the charts.
Completely unrelated and random, but I'm curious to hear some other members' experiences.
So, what do you consider to be your best deal/steal you've ever gotten on an NBA authentic?
For me it would have to be a my screen printed MJ. Check this out, I saw an eBay listing a couple of years ago titled "Michael Jordan Allotment" starting at $100. It had already been listed at least once before and ended with no bids. It was the jersey and two earlier run Starting Lineup figures still packaged.
One of them was this...
the other I don't remember right now.
I ended up winning that listing with 1 $100 bid and two others that week for <$100, a correct v-neck "Flo-Jo" Reggie & a 95-96 Kemp, both in really great shape too.
Anyone else? What was your best find? I enjoy hearing stories like this and i know you guys have some.

I got the '95-'96 Champion pinstripe for $80 from the Eastbay catalog. There was nothing like that new Eastbay catalog in HS.
Yeah, you guys kill me with the Ross finds. There aren't any in my area.
I remember that, it was like $5 or something crazy? I don't even bother with my local thrifts. I don't need a Neil O' Donnell Starter replica with the screen printing wearing off.
See, I pretty much have to get lucky on eBay. I did get an MJ Champion authentic ('92-'93 - '95-'96) for basically $20-$25 from a dude I know once. Oh, and a 8403 rookie authentic brand new in '03 for like $50 once locally too.
