Official AUTHENTIC NBA JERSEY Post - Bringin Back the JERSEY ERA... (Info/Guide = Page 1)

Speaking of Tom Chambers I need that short sleeve Seattle warm up jacket. Especially since I just picked this up.

"Generally speaking" he is correct...BUT with those 2012 Olympic jersey's Nike made replica (screen printed) and "authentic" with stitched letters and numbers, according to Nike. Specs in terms of materials of jersey body, numbers, and the Dri fit sweat wipe on the inside collar were the same. I don't know if sizing was the same though. Retail was S, M, L etc, not sure if in court as the same or numbered. But as far as those particular Nike's are concerned it's authentic if not screen printed.
But the tag is totally different i was there at Olympic

Bro I don't know what pic you're looking at but the 2012 USA Bron jersey he posted is 100% legit. It matches the one I purchased at Foot Locker so if he did end up buying it he got a real Nike jersey. And before you come at me with your corncob "is this the same exact cut, stitching, tagging that the player wore on court" that was NOT his question. He wanted to know if real/authentic or fake. Well in this case he showed us real genuine Nike product, NOT fake. And Nike advertised those as "authentic". So because it doesn't meet YOUR exact criteria for being "on court" authentic doesn't mean dude didn't get what he was looking for it that I posted misinformation, because I didn't.

@PurpleMamba

Nice Kobe, I've a fair amount of guys posting some older Nike Dri Fits...is the material really that nice?
Thanks!

I think all materials have their pros and cons.... I guess some people like the softness and breathability of DriFit.

It's very prone to fabric snags/pulls though. Especially raptors jerseys, which use a lighter, more delicate DriFit fabric.

So i finally got the balls to bring some jerseys to get altered at my local cleaners. I only brought 2 to start off with in case i didnt like the way they came out. I let them use a size 48 M&N current run Penny jersey as a template.

Before pics

Reebok Garnett size 52

First run Shaq made in Korea M&N size 48 ( length was ridiculous )

After pics

Garnett jersey

Shaq jersey

These came out good imo. So i will definitely bring them more to tailor. The Garnett the shortened the length and the width and the Shaq they only shortened the length.

Looks good bro! Glad you finally took the plunge, especially if that means more of your jersey's will get worn. I do happen to like the longer length however on some jersey's. But to each their own. How much did they charge you? When I get my Rev30's tailored my usual lady charges $35. I took them to another lady once when I had 3 I needed done and she did $25 but took longer. The $35 gets done in a day.

I have yet to get my hands on a Nike authentic Dri Fit, but if they're anything like the current Rev30's in terms of their delicateness then I know what you mean. Super easy to snag. Someone earlier in the thread said he preferred the Dri Fit over the older Champions...I really like old Champion authentics though...

Was looking to get a LC on this. New to the jersey game and thought it might've been a swingman initially.Thx in advance

@Dc30  payed 42 and some change total.  I don't remember the breakdown in price but the Garnett was more because the width and length was taken in. That Shaq jersey was past my knees so it was definitely unwearable glad to be able to bring it out this spring/summer.

I went to the Suns OKC game yesterday, they have openend up a memorabilia store over there and I was able to get an authentic Shannon Brown HWC jersey from the 2012-2013 season! Been looking for that for a long time and could not believe my eyes! USD 162 and it was mine. It is also signed, but to be honest I do not care about which player is on it and if it is signed, I just wanted that jersey so bad! WIll post pics later!

When you get your Rev30's altered, do they keep the Adidas stripes on each side of the jersey? I sent in some Wizards blanks to eps for mesh numbers and to get altered to a shorter length. I'm hoping they can keep them or redo them so it looks like it wasn't touched.

Stripes? Do you mean the 3 little stitched lines right above the slit? If that is them then no, they don't touch them. I only have about 1-1.5 inches removed.

Yea those. I'm having them remove 3 inches so I think it may be noticeable in my situation.

eps shows their another mesh job

one is from timberwolves gamer, other is eps job

there's few differences, but i like what i see.

I said that, particuarly because at the time (2001ish?) The Mavs had just changed their uniform design and switched to dri-fit, and at the time it was a huge transition.. Before then, jerseys were always mesh.

ironically i only ended up buying 2 drifits...authentic champions were 100 and by the time nike introduced drifits, prices crept to 170ish. Couldnt afford a collection on a middle schooler's allowance..

To be honest I am disappointed...
The mesh is not the same as the real one, it's not even the same on the top and the bottom of the 2 and on another pic, you can see both 2s from wiggins jersey aren't the same width...

85 for that is way to much to me. Let's see another style and give them some time but for the moment, looks average to me.
