Official AUTHENTIC NBA JERSEY Post - Bringin Back the JERSEY ERA... (Info/Guide = Page 1)

Yeah, I also prefer the Champion version where the entire Rockets of front logo is triple-stitched.

Nice J though!

Hey guys, I'm going to send a blank rev30 to EPS to get mesh numbers on it.  Never dealt with them before though so I just wanna make sure I fill out the form properly.  Do I just ask for the name and number in mesh numbers or do I have to specify the stitching style too?  Or just ask for mesh numbers instead of layered or anything?  Thanks for your help

The only really pertinent detail I remember from the email I received when I inquired about mesh numbers on a Heat jersey the guy, Josh, said I HAVE to write mesh numbers otherwise they will just use regular twill. I'm sure you could request a stitching style if you have one in mind but I'm only guessing at that one.

Same here.

Everyone I see is $250+ though. :smh:

Yeah I suppose rarer than most. Most Barkley Champion stuff is up there though. Annoying but at the same time I love Champion.

Also contemplating a black Alonzo Mourning M&N. bought the Swingman, but kinda underwhelmed even though I'm not a big M&N fan. Trying to find pics of a black Heat Zo in this thread...

Your opinion of the Zo? I wanted to cop some more Mourning stuff after I found that Hornets Champion I posted a few pages back. I just picked up the Adidas Swingman version of the Zo.

And it's decent enough, but if I returned it and paid a few bucks more I found some 44's from sellers for under 200. The M Swingman sizes up against my 44 Kemp M&N perfectly too so I guess that would be my size. What size is that? Not a huge Ness fan, but the higher quality stitching/twill etc...for a few bucks more, higher quality couldn't hurt. Thanks for finding your post BTW.

Is anybody here from the Chicago area? I wonder if the Bulls will sell the black authentic sleeved jerseys sometime this year?

I am, but I haven't been to any games this year. I can certainly keep my eye out for you. I still owe you a favor since you ooped me on those authentic USA shorts from 2012. I haven't forgot bro.

I know many believed this would be the result, but I am not sure if anyone imagined that it could be a situation where some teams may have the Jordan Brand logo. Kind of like how it is in college ball. I would imagine the Hornets and the Bulls would be two candidates for the Jordan Brand logo?

I dun think so, but I heard from a insider that they may put small AD patch on the jersey next season.

Be as specific as possible. You have to specify that you want mesh numbers as well. I'd recommend you send in pictures using glossy paper of how you want the letters to look, the type of stitching, colors, last name etc. The more specific the easier it will be for them. You can google or look up on ebay some of the pro-cut versions of jerseys to get a feel for how they look and how you want yours done

Sources say that Nike is close to securing a deal that will give the sportswear giant long-term apparel rights for the NBA apparel rights for the NBA.

According to Sports Business Daily, the potential deal will give Nike the rights to put its logos on jerseys, which means that the Swoosh and Jumpman logos could appear on NBA uniforms in the future. The NBA hopes to announce the new deal this spring. Becoming an official partner of the NBA would allow Nike more access to team logos for its product. It would also give the brand a better platform to market its signature athletes in the NBA like LeBron James and Kevin Durant.

Apparently Nike's superior distribution, especially in overseas markets, has helped it land the contract. Having Nike as an apparel partner will only help to grow the NBA's brand on an international level, which is a goal for the ever-growing league.

adidas, the NBA's current outfitter, has elected not to renew its current apparel contract with the league, which expires after the 2016-17 NBA season. For now, adidas logos are only allowed on NBA warm-ups.

If Nike does take over, hopefully we will get more styles, like HWC & Christmas, available in authentic form and not just swingman.

:pimp:

Nike always had better shooting shirts and warm ups, adidas throws those 3-stripes on everything :smh:

I hope Nike will bring back numeric sizing of jerseys instead of the MT,LT, 2XLT sizing thats on the Rev30s. It will make them much more wearable for the everyday person. But it looks like things are progressing that they will sell overpriced swingmans with cheaper quality while charging $300+ for authentics

Nike must be realizing the international profit potential with the NBA. Having those rights would be a huge for them in like China, India, Europe, etc. But I still don't want manufacturer's logos on the game jersey/shorts. They can swoosh everything else, but please leave the on court uniform swoosh free.
