Out of curiosity, how can you tell? Sorry kind of new with jerseys.

It was a mass produced fake pro-cut that was all over eBay during the early 2000's.
That particular size tag wasn't used during MJ's Bulls career. His Nike Bulls pro-cuts should have tags like this:

there were 2 kind of fakes of that jersey
very bad ones (that example above) and very good ones, that are very hard to recognize.
in 99 nike made a lot mj bulls jerseys for 1998/99 season with new nike tags
when mj retired, they changed season tags and put it on the marked
this is how it looks like
funny thing, on neck is information made in salvador, under is made in usa...
in comparision here's fake tag
look close and compare
1. bull (in fake is wider and usually little hidden by size tag)
2. nike swish
3. nba logo
4. sewning tags, no sewning up and under bull and nba logo
5. season and length tags are horrible quality and sewn very bad
so, there could be original mj jerseys with the newer tags, but mj didn't ever wear it.
you can buy it much cheaper than og 97/98 pro cut...

It is great to read and increase my Jersey knowledge on this forum. Thanks to all the NT Fam that are always posting info about comparisons of real and fake Jerseys.
I struggle to tell the difference which is why I only buy Jerseys from the NBA website.

I have a decent pick up coming in this week. Price was nice so I couldn't pass it up, and I haven't seen it very much. Will post when it arrives. Possibly will do an "authentic" collection pic thus far as well.

There's always something good coming in lol! But I think I need to take a break for a little bit. I'm sure a bunch of you guys are in possession of more than I am, but at about 55 jersey's (authentic and swingman) I could stand to cool off a bit.
