don't the teams also have a saying in the materials??? I really like the current materials from Adidas for the authentic shorts and jerseys!

in the 90s the replicas were like USD 50, the authentics around USD 120 and I can not really remember if they sold pro cuts back then!

Yes if the outfitter has other materials offered for team jerseys like Nike, adidas, and reebok did.

Now it's all about being lightweight so there's only one material

the light material does not make them run so much faster, LOL, it is not as if the weight of the uniforms has been reduced from 10 LBS to 1 LBS!

Plus with all the pro combat and techfit stuff that the players are wearing, this can not seriously be an issue!

I'm thinking maybe not, because Adidas did do that whole Revolution 30 back in 2010 for every team.

but the Revolution 30 was a good invention, at least I think so. If you compare the Rev 30 jerseys and shorts with those of Nike, then I do still prefer Adidas!

I like Rev 30s.  I know I sound like a broken record, but the only bad thing about them is the length.

The thing im most interested in is what nike does with the numbers. On their authentic college basketball jerseys they use a cheap feeling thin twill. I have a feeling they will use that.

Personally I think mesh numbers were the best part of rev 30s

Most likely gonna follow what they are doing with college jerseys

:smh:

How's it going you guys! I visited my local thrift today and came upon these two pieces. My gut tells me that Penny piece is fake but some people I know believe Nike did produce Swingmans in Korea. I have a bit of more research to do myself. And regarding that O'Neal piece I understand it MAY be a custom. I saw that there was another post some time ago with the same piece. Any bit of info helps! Thank you!!

Both are legit

That penny is a rare find and no fading :pimp:

Too bad the cut on those Suns jerseys are horrible

robpzee612 robpzee612 , Bert. Bert. , jordan novice jordan novice THANK YOU GUYS!! I just had this gut feeling about that Penny piece being fake. Considering the picture does not do justice. The jock tag print looks kinda shooken up if that makes sense, not too straight lettering. But I really appreciate it! That Penny joint made my birthday.

And always take advantage of your local thrift sales!!! My store was 50% off today so this was DEF the best $10 I've ever spent. The O'Neal piece was $8 and the Penny piece was $2.50 out the door with no tax :pimp:

Legit check....?

Lol, kidding. Thought I'd post this as I sometimes see inquires regarding tailoring larger jerseys. Just got these back from EPS. For anyone who didn't know, EPS is now able to do alterations. The away Cavs jersey was originally purchased in '03 in a size 52 and I had sent it in along with the size 40 so that it could be resized. As expected, they did an awesome job! Also got the home white customized by them.

Alterations cost me $80, well worth it in my eyes.

Anybody else have their jerseys taken in by eps? Especially jerseys with side panels?

Yeah, I love the thrift store. I haven't been in a good while but it's something else when you end up finding something.

Just a heads up, the Penny is real, but it is a swingman. If you compare it to the O'Neal jersey, which is an authentic, has layered stitching while the Penny has "printed" on stitching of layered numbers and letters.

Guys that have a Jordan champion jersey, what did you pay for yours and what do you think is a fair price for one?

The pinstripe? I've seen them go over 200 many times. Lots on eBay around 180 or so. I paid 150 for mine but the guy bought it year ago for not even half that and he just didn't want it. I paid even more for the bullets champion jersey I posted recently.

i paid about $150 aud for my pinstripe and $200 aud for my 91-92 screenprint away champion. Both were steals in my book seeing how bad the exchange rate is.
