Yupp. We all have a reseller in us or we wouldn't be here for the most part. I'm literally here just to learn about fakes, just found this thread not to long ago, caught up on a few hundred pages so far. Its really good info.
Yeah I will post a link or whatever if I see something people might want, but really who here has not copped two pairs of whatever limited shoe to resell one? How many times have yall camped out with your girl and she gets a size 13 like as if your not gonna resell that ish to offset the cost of your pair. I get there is a difference between that and buying up 10-20 pairs or whatever for pure profit but it boils down to the same thing.
If your active here, you will see the new post notification and cop your **** while the links hot. Who really cares if the deals stay up for days or weeks. If anything these re-sellers are driving the price UP and making everyone's stuff more valuable anyway. There's enough food to go around either way, private group or not.
I think the real bread and butter in this thread is all the legit checks, info about older jerseys, and pics of legit collections that can help everyone from not getting ripped off and keeping everyone's collections legit and the best they can be.

It's difficult, but of course it's great to find ways to avoid these kind of guys; they're not even passionate, just lurking for every little occasion to make cash.
Some are dealing with fakes - and it's even worse- but some are buying 10 times the same jersey to resell twice the price, not even collecting.
Result is same sh**: money VS passion.

Whatever coup yall are forming, please don't box out all of the lurkers. I only own 1 rev30 authentic and I'll post it if need be...not a reseller either

on a sidenote, I hit up the one person in here that posted a pic of a blank TWOLVES black Rev30 (sleeves) and dude never responded. I called and emailed the TWolves Pro Shop and they basically told me not to have any expectations on any coming. Basically just keep checking |I

Finally got my Dirk back from EPS. Had it resized as well. Very pleased with the jersey. The wait time not so much

In all seriousness, a private fb group/email distribution isn't going to do much in the long term. Like others said, it wouldn't be hard for resellers to eventually infiltrate the new fb group/ email list/etc.
The best answer to kill the resell threat is to not buy at resell (beating a dead horse, I know). Best thing a collector/hobbyist can do is fight the urge to "need" a jersey. I am able to say no to grail jerseys and it's a powerful thing. Also it is satisfying to ignore resellers and watch them drop their prices because they can't move inventory.

Thx bro. It was a blank from Marshalls i bought last year. Was 125 for the name, number and resizing plus ship. Gonna cost you more if you want them to strip and redo your jersey with mesh.

I just had them alter the length because it was a +2 in length. Not sure if its extra if they alter the width and the length tho. May want to email em and see

Unfortunately you're going to have a hard time finding one unless you get a game issued or worn one. Hey guys, is there a reasonable explanation why this jersey would have 2000-2001 tagging, but yet it features the unity patch from 2001-2002? Is there any chance the jersey went unused and was somehow carried over into the next season, or has it simply been incorrectly customized with a patch from the following year?
To my knowledge the Canadian version of that patch was tough to get, so this one has me puzzled... (and if I'm not mistaken VC up sized to a 56 in 01-02 when this patch was employed).

I was confused to when I saw this jersey yesterday. As far as i am concerned, I prefer it's a team issued for reuse, however VC changed size maybe?
52+4 in 0001, 56+4 for 0102, 56+6 for 0203 were common sizing for VC, but I did see some size variations like 58+6 in 0203

Been in this thread for a while, although not as long as some of ya'll...but resellers and lurkers are always going to happen. As much as it bothers us, especially those that are really into collecting, wearing, etc. Personally if there is money to be made on a flip (like the navy Bron last year) I'm just going to skip over it. I would rather just grab one for me and let others eat. Cuz I know how it sucks missing out on something that you genuinely want, and then the vultures ruin it. But that's me...I can give up a profit knowing my fellow jersey/sneaker head flourished, hoping that it'll come back to me at some point.
The one thing that really bugs the piss out of me though is the cats that scoop up stuff on the low on eBay then immediately relist it with bogus COA's or just calling it game worn when it's simply team issued. That is the low down dirty stuff to me. Resellers gonna happen, but that bogus stuff is crap.
All that being said I really hope that I can get my hands on an authentic Heat "home strong" or "hwc"...but I think those chances are slim.

Man, all I really want is Knicks jersey. I collect other players, greats like LBJ, KD, Kobe, Steph, etc but I ride with my Knicks all day. If anyone comes across or has the 2014-15 and beyond rev 30 Knicks blank, hit me up. I need a few.

How is ordering a custom authentic on NBA.com? There's a flash sale right now for 25% off. Are custom authentics the same or close to the same as whats worn on court?
