Those shirt jerseys could have been made better. I dont mind them, but there is definitely room for improvement.
International basketball used to wear shirt jerseys back in the 90s. Korea basketball leagues wore LONG sleeved jerseys too actually. Basketball teams before the NBA was created wore short sleeves also.

The Raptors ones only available exclusively at Air Canada arena store and only in swingman jerseys, not even any local Canada sport stores or even any Toronto local sport stores. They also never launched any shorts to the public. You won't be able to get them anywhere because part of the military jerseys sales will go directly to the Canadian military.

The NBA Store is also selling Celtics, Pacers, Magic & Nuggets 'Christmas Day' jerseys, plus Sixers, Wolves & Mavs 'Christmas Day name & number' tees.

I know this is a jersey thread but i just bought Alex Len's draft hat, autographed for 65 bucks. He wore it on draft night. Won the auction at Meigray. Is there a hat thread here? I'll post pics of it here if there is no hat thread.

The Adidas Christmas jerseys are so nice and innovative. It would be a great stocking stuffer this Christmas! Adidas really did it this time. Can't wait to see them on the court!

Swingman is $110 and the authentic are $300 for the few team shops that have them.
Usually don't announce it until the week before.

If NIKE were the ones doing the Christmas Sleeved Uniforms...
50% of You Guys would LOVE IT and claim brilliance on the sleeve concept.
25% Would have the Balls to say it SUCKS.
25% Would Make Excuses on WHY they did it & Become Mr. Save-A-Swoosh's
I've seen enough of the BS brand loyalty behavior in my lifetime to call it out. SO.....
With that said... working for the Stripes, I was able to see Early Samples of these Jerseys in person about a year ago... but they DID NOT have Sleeves.
Was NOT Impressed with them then... and Definitely Not Now. They're going a little too far too the left with this one.
VERDICT: SUCKS

I dont think people,give 2 cents on the brand. Whether it is sand knit, champion, nike or reebok. These jerseys are just freaking horrible and look more like shooting shirts (even as shooting shirts they suck). Also the huge logo on the chest? Come on now. And then to also overprice them? These will sit for a while, since not many people are willing to drop $300 for an authentic jersey they dont even like.
They overprice their stuff way too much. $300+ for the authentic lakers hollywood nights jersey

Brand doesn't matter to me. I think sleeved basketball jerseys look dumb.
$300 for any jersey is foolish, ESPECIALLY a basketball jersey. The least amount of material.

They indeed SUCK. I was just stating facts on consumer behavioral patterns I've seen over time. Doesn't take away how horrific these are.
Pricing on Authentics from ANY Brand has always been Ridiculous, though.
People don't realize how little cost goes into producing them & how many corners are cut during retail development.

i think da best thing that happened to da NBA was when multiple companies had da licenses for teams, that way it breeds compeition,
drives da prices down, and creates more unique warm up and overall feel, adidas homogenized da whole damn league and everything looks
da same...
