Nike Air PRESSURE (pics)!!!

I remeber when I was a kid and saw them at Athletic Foot. They were a grip back them. I could only imagine what they would cost now

as reebok celebrates it's 20th anniversary of the pump, this should remind sneakerheads why nike never pursued more pump action shoes... they learned tojust stick to what they know rather than trying to eclipse competition and their own innovations

when i started at foot locker in 89, we had the brown pair left for 19.99 on sale. i almost bought them just because of the fact they took the same structureof the AJ II. big mistake. around 97 i was told if i had them, i would have been offered anywhere between 2 and 10k depending on the condition at that time...and that was over 10 years ago.

Never able to get these (price!) when they came out. Love 'em, but I hope Nike doesn't retro these. Let classics be.

Still, finding any of the Pump shoes in good condition today would be a nightmare, both on the time and wallet.

... I don't condone camping etc for the sole purpose of reselling, but in a case of owning a rarity in such a mint condition, I'd sell these things. Props to you for keeping them crispy. This is a grail-find/collection completer for so many people, might as well Make some quick doe, player. Unless you don't care about the quick doe, in which case i respect that too.

Did any players even rock these back in the day?

I just want to see someone with these on their feet. Anyone.

Funny thing is these were hated on until they became rare. Back when these dropped everyone hated them.

Back In the day I only knew two people who had these... but EVERYONE had the original Reebok Pumps with the release valve on the heel. This is the shoe that Reebok sued Nike over, stating Reebok owned the whole pump idea. If i'm not mistaken, that is why Nike is releasing this shoe soon, WITHOUT the pump system. Someone correct me if I'm wrong on this. These shoes are dropping in a million colors in the next few months (again, minus Pump system).

Nike is releasing a terrible version of the 180 Command pump minus the pump not these.

You're right, but They released another shoe recently with the exact CW of the Air Pressure, but of course there was no pump system. Looked bootleg as hell... Just like these coming versions of the Command Force
