Shortest Time at a Job? Vol. I should have given my 2 weeks notice before I applied..

3 days at a mom and pop sneaker store in queens..Was there for 3 days but did 5 days worth of work and time.

anyways just got hired at MARSHALLS but !%!#@ offered me minimum wage when my last job was about a dollar 75 more then what she offered so i gave her the

shes expecting me to come in tuesday for orientation. i don't know if i should go...i mean i really need a job..but i have standards...MARSHALLS+minimumwage

Worked about 3 hours for a chimney company, and bounced at break time. I couldn't deal with the scam these clowns were running with.

Never trust those guys, they are all losers.

i got a job working at mcdonalds when i was 18

they made me work the overnight shift and it was mad boring

on the 3rd night i got sick of it i texted my boss telling him im quitting and leaving my uniform their.

then i called my boy to pick me up and we took a bunch of food.

was eating good for about a week :nthat:

45 minutes at a movie theater (my first job). 'Manager told me I had to stay til 3AM to clean up concession so I walked out.

Got hired elsewhere the next day and never looked back til I saw this thread.
 
Worked at a Cafe/Bakery for a few weeks only to realize Food-Service isn't for me. I hated spilling **** on my apron, having water fly everywhere when doing dishes, dodging people, checking on oven, yelling out orders, complaining customers. Working up my anger just talking about it.

My uncles "life partner " was the manager there, gave me a position making milk shakes :smh: got freezer burns every 3-5 minutes hands were we and cold . Middle of the winter and these ****** had the window open :x

Came home the first night looking like I went off roading ,lil sick too.

Also threatened by my mother if I quit I would be kicked out.

Second day I quit after 4 hours . My uncles "life partner " hasn't spoken with me since :lol:
 
I was 19 and worked as a dishwasher for a new sushi restaurant. Place closed at 9:00 but didn't get out until 11:00. Two hours of washing dishes and the owner was a ****. Worked all of one day. There are just some things you can't do so I don't ever look down on anyone that leaves any position.
 
Three weeks at USPS. One afternoon, I had lost the key to the mail truck I was driving with, in the snow. The supervisor had to come down and have the other mail carriers take the rest of my mail in the truck. I was so embarrassed, I told them to that I won't be back. :lol:

when i was in highschool i worked at build a bear and got fired after not even a week from working there... i came in late into training because i had lunch with a girl i was feeling and didnt want to leave her... the job was lame anyway but i just needed the money... told my sister to pick me up :lol:
 
I wanted a lil extra money just for the holidays
I already had a full time job
But I got a part time job at chuck e cheese
Worked like 3 days
On my 3rd day I was there for an hour
I hopped out that chucky suit and said **** this and left
 
did like 4 days at a company similar to vector... followed a dude around training to upgrade businesses landline phone service back in 08. First job outta college...it was so stupid.

did like 3 days at a state job emergency preparedness dept.... got a call for another interview on my first day... interviewed at lunch on my second day, got the offer and turned in my notice on the 3rd day. Thought I would work for 2 weeks.... they told me just leave. It was so funny cuz the new job was with the same agency just a different dept.

started the new job and only stayed there a month.

they stuck me in a room smaller than a jail cell with the biggest mexican dude ive ever seen and i had to cut bread for 8 hours.

no AC. in July.

they told me everyone had to do it.

said i literally couldnt and gave them props for doing it and never went back.

I was 14-15 and going to work a chick fil a. The first day was just learning how to make things. Left for lunch 2 hours in. Literally never came back
 
I worked 3 hours at BK.....said na this life not for me. Made a meal for me and my boy then bounced.

Dont think I every receive a check...
 
my first job, it was a grocery store. Worked there for 2 weeks before i got into a fight with one of my coworkers. i knew em from school.
