Has any of your Jordans Completely cracked???

Just recently i was wearin my 1999 air jordan iv retro blk/red and thesole completely tore off ....has that happened to anyone else?
 
nope, the oldest shoe i have is black/infrared VIs and theyre not even close to cracking, only a little bit of paint cracking
 
My retro IX lows white/blue are starting come apart but not cracking the sole is coming off in one peace. Can super gule those back together i will try. I donot know to post pictures either.
 
Can we please get pics......i have a VNDS pair coming in and i really want to wear them. Did yours have fogged air units? What shape were they in and were youconsistent with wearing them? Please post pics....it will be very helpful.

here's my 8 OGs... copped back in 93 and kept deadstock for 11 years...
this is what happened when i opened these up.
btw, i kept them in Indonesia... guess the temperature and humidity caused this tragedy...

That sucks. R.I.P None of my shoes have cracked yet. If its an olderretro that i know will crack i walk around my house so it gets use to ym weight and pressure. Lucky im really light so wont have much effect.
 
I ball in my older retros too, but ive balled in them since I bought them so they're loose. If you store them for a while and them wear them to ball, itsusually not a good outcome.

well here is another pic... my advice is... NEVER trust your OGs unless they are 10 or up.
I have a pair of cement 4s... 99 retro. I was walking down the street with them on and suddenly, i felt like my left pair collapsed.
you can't see the cracking from outside, but definitely you can feel the difference.
1 to 9 as i know use PU for midsole, but from 10 to up, phylon i guess.
PU definitely collapses... damn...

by the way, these are the only survivors from the tragedy...
i use them for my retros and they are hot like fire...

Nothing lasts forever. Jordans are included. So it's better to wear while you can then to not have worn them at all.
 
my brother has a OG 8 black/red but it happened worse than yours because the sole has completely "crumbled" like bread!!

it sucks to happen to anyone who owns a shoe especially jordans...
my all white 9s paint are chipping right now and my 11 IE low black/red are separating from each other but nothing major like yours..
 
^^^^ my Olive 9's paint are chipped also. i think this was a common problem with them but i got the retro's...i never had this problem with my kickslike that, damn homie
 
Wow, the same thing happened to my retro V !!! I was ballin with the team I coach and the sole came off......that was a sick day!
 
The same exact thing happened to me with my Barkley Air Max Forces black/grey...I won them off ebay...
hooped in them, & the whole heel came off during a game....just like in your pics.... I was mad heated..
