So, with only 5 days left in the application process, which schools are you guys and gals applying to?
For what reasons are you applying to these schools? Location, reputation, programs?

Here's my list so far:

UC Davis - Good chance of getting into the UCD Med School if I decide to. Close to home (Sacramento). Fair chance of getting in. Reputable, as far as UCs go.
UC Riverside - Location isn't too bad. Good chance of getting in. Fair program, as it looks so far.
UC SB - BEACHSIDE. Come on. But likely will not apply, since I do not think I'd get accepted.
SDSU - Location, location, location. And a great chance of getting in, looking at my grades. Not too sure of the programs offered here, though. I will lookinto it today.
CSU Long Beach - Same as above.

What about you guys?

Btw, I have a current cumulative GPA of just under 3.6; it should be around 3.8 by the end of the year though.

Harvey Mudd-great school, doubt I'll make it in though.
UCLA-just visited it, I love LA man, I know a lot of people who attend there and they also have my major, also, because it's UCLA!
UCSD- Great location, beautiful campus.
UC Berkeley-Great location, beautiful campus, nice programs, San Francisco, far from home yet still in state.

edit: anyone finish their essays yet?
I still need to start

oh hey, Broke on Nikes! Thanks for helping me with my chem hw a while back, really appreciated and Just glad that it's all over with...

UCD - They said if I apply I'll get accepted, plus I love the place in terms of recreation and weather.
UCSB - They said if I apply I'll get accepted, otherwise...it's a party school?
UCLA - great bio program and med school (thinking about doing the extra thing for the pre-med program)
SJSU - San Jose is kinda close to home, and besides that I wanna do maybe a business major...
Cal Poly Pomona - Really good engineering programs, besides business I feel that engineering might be my thing.
SFSU - I unno why, but I just applied there...I like the city I guess.

Keepzdasneakz, no problem. What are you looking to do?
Forgot who you were lol.

How does a future in Medicine look if I'm good at math, but don't like to do it at all?

That's exactly how I feel, but from what I know...medicine requires a really good memory (as you have to know all the anatomical parts and symptomsrelating to certain things and whatnot, especially pharmacist). I'm pretty good at math...thing is I don't like it much, but I like cars and such, that's one of the reasons why I'm looking into mechnical engineering, because I have a general interest in learning how things work. I'd say if youwere good at science or chem, go for engineering, that's if you're really dedicated to doing those things. But if you don't like math, I probablywouldnt wanna spend time in college getting a degree for it ...

seems like no one is really applying to UCSD...as a current student there, i can saythat the socially dead thing is pretty true if you don't really know the right people, but if you make the effort to make sure you're not sittin in urdorm on a friday/saturday, it can be fun. you just really have to make a really good effort to go out and get ur social life, because it's maybe 1/4thnerds and weird people and the other 3/4th are cool.

no one asked
