6. Rafael Araujo(notes), Toronto Raptors, taken eighth overall in 2004

Your humble narrator received all sorts of stick from Toronto backers for calling Hoffa a bust after his rookie year, as if he was ready for a bust-out season at age 25 after turning the ball over on nearly 21 percent of the possessions he used up in 2004-05. Raps fans, as they sometimes do, warmed to a dose of reality a year later when Araujo continued to stink, and Jazz fans got a taste in his third season before he was mercifully left to play overseas. And Rob Babcock? Don't draft players who are two months away from their 24th birthday, unless they're averaging 30 and 20 in the NCAAs. It's not Hoffa's fault; he worked his butt off. He was just a huge reach at eighth overall.
my single most hated player in the league. I was

Anyways, although it may be unfair to label them as such, Jay Williams and Shaun Livingston were busts.

Eddy Curry is another huge bust that comes to mind.

I do agree with #1 though, Darko turned out to be a huge disappointment.
At least Eddy Curry had some pretty productive seasons.

Dude was decent in college. One of the biggest reaches i've seen in the draft though. I actually wanted the Jazz to draft him

Because Oden has only played one season after coming back from a serious injury. Jury's still out on Oden. Yi, on the other hand, hasalready been traded. Milwaukee didn't even want to ride out his rookie contract and see if he'd develop

im kidding. seriously how are they going to put Yi in the top 10. Have to give 5 years if he's still in the league. Jay Williams for my Bulls comes tomind. Dude ruined his career; pulled a Kellen Winslow

I agree Yi shouldn't be labeled a bust yet, he's still got some time to prove himself(and i believe he will)

To early to put Yi on there. In time, he'll end up being a pretty good player. I don't see him being a star player, all star, any of that... buthe'll be a solid roe player for a team. 2 years in the L is to little time to make that decision of calling him a bust. Give him some more time.

How can Olowokandi not be on that list? He's by far the worst #1 overall pick I can remember and that includes Kwame. That omission alone makes the listnonsense.

OK. Nevermind.

to me for not reading the title more carefully.

Decade is an important word in the title. It contains the prefix deca, meaning 10.

no marvin williams? id put him in there just off the fact he got picked in front of CP3, deron williams, raymond felton and danny granger
